GYPSUM, Colorado — The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 47-year-old Gypsum, Colorado man who has been missing since Tuesday.
The sheriff’s office said that Mark Wilmers hasn’t shown up for work, which his family said is unusual of him and lead them to believe he is missing. Wilmers works at City Market in Avon, but an employee at the store said he started working there recently and couldn’t speak to his work habits.
Deputies will be on the lookout for Wilmers and his white truck, but spokeswoman Shannon Cordingly said the public’s help is needed.
“We’re definitely going to need the support of the members of the public because they’re our eyes and ears,” Cordingly said.
The sheriff’s office also sent out an alert to other state agencies describing Wilmers and to keep an eye out for him.
Wilmers is driving a white 1996 Ford pickup with Colorado license plates 712JUM.
Anybody with information can call the sheriff’s office at 328-8500.
