Chattanooga: Police search for missing man
The Chattanooga Police Department’s missing persons unit is asking the public for help locating a man who last was seen on Dec. 15 when he was released from Erlanger hospital.
Lee Andrew Camp Sr. is homeless and has a history of hanging out in the downtown area, said Lt. Kim Noorbergen, police spokeswoman. He has family members who live on Walden Avenue in the Shepherd area and on occasion has lived there, Lt. Noorbergen said.
There has been no known contact with Mr. Camp since his release. Because of his age and sudden disappearance Chattanooga police consider his status to be endangered.
Mr. Camp is 60 years old, stands 6 feet, 4 inches and weighs about 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and black/gray hair, according to police.
If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mr. Camp they are asked to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 698-2525.
