An Endangered Persons alert was issued Tuesday for two Truth or Consequence brothers who went missing Monday.

The missing are 12-year-old Michael Johnson and his brother Jordan, 8.

They were last seen at their home at 1406 Nickle around 9 p.m. Their sister found their room empty at 5:30 a.m. the next day.

Michael was last seen wearing a grey sweat pants suite with black and white Fubu shoes. He is 5 feet tall and between 60 and 80 pounds. He has a slender build, short hair and a birth mark on his right hip.

Jordan was last seen wearing a green and black camo sweat pants suit. He is 4 feet tall and about 30 to 50 pounds. He has short hair and a scar on his left eyebrow.

They could possibly be with their father, Adrian Johnson. The man lost parental rights.

He drives a red, four-door car.

TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, N.M. -- New Mexico state police have issued an endangered person advisory for two boys missing from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

Police are also looking for the boys' biological father who has no custodial rights. His last known address was in Sunland Park, New Mexico.

The two boys were last seen in their family home about 1 a.m. Tuesday, New Mexico state police said. They were in bed sleeping when their mother's boyfriend checked on them and were not in their beds the next morning, officials said.

The boys' biological father, 34-year-old Adrian Carl Johnson is 5'9", weighs 160 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last known to drive a red four-door Chevy Cavalier, police said.

Jordan Johnson, 8, is about 4 feet tall, weighs 60 pounds has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing green and black woodland camouflage pajamas. He has a small scar on his left eyebrow.

Michael Johnson, 12, is about 5 feet tall, weighs 80 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray sweat pants, white and black FUBU sneakers and a Dallas Cowboys jersey with the number 88 and the name Irving on the back. He has a birth mark on his right hip.

If anyone sees the two boys or their biological father, they are asked to contact local police or the Sierra County Sheriff's department at (575) 740-3067 right away.

Michael, 12, and Jordan Johnson, 8, were last seen in their home located at 1406 Nickel, around 1 a.m. They were in bed sleeping when their mother’s boyfriend checked on them. They were not in their beds when the family woke up to get ready for school, police said.

Michael Johnson is about 5 feet tall, weighs 80 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, white and black FUBU sneakers and a Dallas Cowboys jersey with the number 88 and the name Irving on the back. He has a birth mark on his right hip and his hair is short.

They were last seen before they undressed and went to bed? Otherwise why would the one child be wearing his shoes?

Also, how would the father be able to sneak in and take two young boys out of their beds without anyone hearing anything? Possible sure but likely?

Police find missing Truth or Consequences boys

TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, N.M. (AP) - State police say two boys who were reported missing from their home in Truth or Consequences have been found.

Michael Johnson, 12, and Jordan Johnson, 8, left their home on their own early Tuesday and walked south to an abandoned mining shack in the Caballo Mountains.

State police say the boys were found by volunteer firefighters at sunset.

The boys were tired but unharmed.

The search for the boys began early Tuesday after their family woke up and they were not in the home. The family reported that they had last seen the boys in bed sleeping at 1 a.m. Tuesday.
