Bought my first bag couple weeks ago at a nearby store and while thinking they were sorta pricey at 2.79 for 6oz, I bought them anyway.

By the time the bag was empty, I was addicted, so at Walmart today I hit the jackpot... 15oz container for 2.78. Wow! They are so good and much better than eating a daily banana for the potassium.

Oh I love banana chips! I even make my own with a food dehydrator. I mix the chips with raisins, mixed nuts and some Chex cereal for a delicious trail mix.

Did you get any banana chips today?

Yesterday you had said that walmart was out.

I used to work in the produce dept. at Walmart. We usually kept the banana chips in tubs under the banana display table.

Since we are on banana chips, on my first date with my wife over 11 years ago, I served her this delicate royalty.

We are still married, she should have quit dating after getting the banana chips.

Tis a really irksome situation! The place where the banana chips were is against a wall right by a door leading to an employees only room. Yep, as Anna says, in produce. And they are still OUT! Went there this afternoon just for that. The shelves are crammed with dinner rolls. Who cares about dinner rolls in produce? No one.

Today and the other checking day, I looked all around the banana display thinking maybe they would have decided to put them in that location. But, nooooooooo.....

You should try the Sam's choice (walmart) Tropical trail mix. Banana chips, papaya, pineapple, golden raisins, apricots, cranberries, almonds, cashews and macadamia nuts!. That is my current addiction. A big bag, 28 oz. $4.97. I keep thinking they are going to realize the price is wrong and change it. Macadamia nuts are so expensive by themselves. And the pineapple is wonderful.

I think that is how I cracked one of mine. I don't eat the almonds now. Honestly I should not try to eat any of it until I get some teeth fixed. Still have not found an oral surgeon covered by BC/BS.

Banana Chips: Make sure there is no oil used in making them and watch for preservatives.
