The NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services issued a Missing Child Alert on Thursday afternoon.

New York State Police are investigating the disappearance of Jordan Wittcop, a Boston child who is deemed to be endangered.

Jordan is six years old, 3'2" tall with blonde hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black and blue winter jacket, jeans and black/red Adidas sneakers.

Jordan was last seen with 30-year-old John Mrozek, his mother's boyfriend.

State Police tell 2 On Your Side that Jordan's mom left him with Mrozek before she went to work at 5pm on Wednesday. Police say the mother made several attempts to contact Mrozek Wednesday night without any success.

Mrozek is 5'9", 190 pounds with brown hair. He was last seen driving a 1993 Black C-15 Chevy pickup with New York registration 103-66-JG.

Police are not saying what the relationship between Mrozrek and Jordan is.

The New York State Police in Boston New York are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 6 year old boy who is believed to be in the company of the child's mother's boyfriend, John D. Mrozek, 30 yr old - Boston resident.

The child and boyfriend were last seen when the mother left for work at 5pm Wednesday evening. Mrozek is believed to be driving a black 1993 Chevrolet pick up truck, NY reg. 10366JG. The State Police are being assisted in investigation by law enforcement agencies in Erie County including the Buffalo Police and Erie County Sheriffs.

The 6-year-old is described as caucasian with blue eyes and blonde hair.
He is about three foot two inches, and weighs about forty-two pounds.

Mrozek may be attempting to buy drugs in the Buffalo area. If you've seen him you are asked to call the State Police at 716-941-9300.

Wittcop has been found safely on Buffalo's East Side. Police say he is doing OK. Right now, there is no word if Mrozek has been found.

(Boston, NY)- New York State Police have issued a missing child alert for 6 year old Jordan Wittcop. He was last seen in the Boston area wearing a black and blue winter jacket with black and red Adidas sneakers. Jordan Wittcop is 3'2" tall and weighs 42 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. Wittcop was last seen with 30 year old John D. Mrozek. Mrozek is 5'9" tall and weighs 90 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Mrozek was driving a 1993 black C15 Chevy Pickup with an extended cap, tinted windows, and amber lights on the roof. It has a New York registration, with plat number 10366JG. Mrozek and Wittcop are not related to each other. Police thing Mrozek may be trying to buy drugs somewhere in the Buffalo area.

I'm glad that Jordan is ok.

I'm also glad that Mrozek was found and charged.

My hope for this mom and child is the mom, who acted quickly, will choose better boyfriends in the future. IMO
