Bossier City police are asking the public for information that could help locate a man reported missing. A family member last saw 41-year old Clyde David Bowman of Bossier City when he left his residence in the 6000 block of Sandalwood Drive on January 28, 2009.

Bowman left the home in a 2007 white Dodge Ram pickup truck with Louisiana license plate X244451 and gave no indication of where he was going. Detectives have not determined whether or not Bowmans disappearance was the result of foul play.

Bowman is 6'6" tall, weighs 280 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Bossier City detectives at (318) 741-8649.

Missing man located, now jailed

A Bossier City man who was reported missing has been located and is now in the Bossier City Jail. Clyde David Bowman, 42, returned to his mother’s residence in the 6000 block of Sandalwood Drive late last night intoxicated.

Bowman’s mother contacted police saying he was causing a disturbance and did not want him there.

Police contacted Bowman at the residence and took him into custody. He was arrested and booked into the Bossier City Jail on a charge of disturbing the peace drunk.

Bowman last seen on January 28 and had been reported missing to Bossier City police. It appears Bowman chose not to contact family members for the past two weeks. He was not harmed.
