MO Teen Found Dead in Cell

A 17 year old that was to be transferred to an adult prison was found dead in his cell. He was serving a 30 year sentence for the shooting of another teen.

I don't blame him for being scared to go into the adult population, and of course he shouldn't have shot the other boy, but 30 years is more like a murder charge than attempted murder, isn't it?

He strangled himself...And yes, 30 years is more time than most receive for murder.

Don't get me wrong...the crime was horrid and I think the young man needed to be punished. But 30 years? What was that suppose to accomplish? .

Maybe this kid had a paper trail & shooting another three times was the last straw.
