LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - An East Texas teenager has been missing for almost a week, and her family is running out of ideas on where to look.

13 year old Emily Collier was reported missing after a visit to her mother in the Angelina County Jail went sour. Emily left the jail upset and, that's the last her family saw her. They don't know if she was picked up, or is alone. She was last seen wearing jeans, a black shirt over a grey shirt and black snow boots.

Emily's grandmother pleads for others to help in their search. "If anybody sees emily or know where her location is please give us a call and we'll gladly appreciate it. And emily I wanna also say that i love you very much, we all do and we miss you."

Emily Collier is about 5'7 and weighs around 135 lbs. Her family says she is on medication, and that her return home is crucial to her health.

Q: What ever happened the missing Lufkin girl Emily Collier? Was she found or is she still missing?

A: Emily Collier is still missing, according to Lt. David Young with the Lufkin Police Department. The 13-year-old girl was last seen leaving the Angelina County Jail on Feb. 3 after a trip to visit her mother. She was wearing a black shirt over a gray shirt with jeans and black snow boots. The girl is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety Missing Persons Clearinghouse. It is believed that she is still in the area and staying with friends, Young said. If you have any information on her whereabouts please contact 639-TIPS. 13 year old, Emily Collier was reported missing after a visit to her mother in the Angelina County jail went sour. Emily left the jail upset and, that's the last her family saw her. Her family had said she was on medication and her return home was crucial to her health.

Lufkin Police told us Wednesday that she is back home safe and sound after a trip to Houston. She would not give details other than that. The missing girl said she returned home on her own.
