Phyllis Gosnell, 3 & mom Tonya, Missing Since 2/4/09, Shreveport, LA

The Shreveport Police Department needs the public's help in finding a mother and her daughter who have not been seen since February 4, 2009.

Tonya Gosnell and her 3 year old daughter Phyllis have both been missing since Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Both Gosnell and her daughter were last seen in the 3900 block of Sumner St. in Shreveport.

Police and family members are concerned for the welfare of mother and child, who both may be in need of medical attention. At this stage of the investigation, police do not suspect foul play but are working diligently to locate the Gosnells.

Please see picture of Tonya Gosnell attached. At this time we do not have a picture of Phyllis Gosnell.

No further info on what type of medical attention the mom might need? Has she been ill, does she have a mental problem, ...what? Knowing exactly what they are watching for might help the public recognize her when they see her. Really frightening when it is a mom AND a small child.

I agree Anne, more info is needed to garner attention. Were they in a car? Foot? Who is sick and with what? I really hate the lack of information given especially where a young child is concerned.
