Sheriff's Deputies Search For Missing Woman

The Dorchester County Sheriff's office is searching for a 74-year-old woman. Officials say Agnes Virginia Cooper wandered away from her home in Woolford last Friday.

Cooper suffers from dementia and officials say she's done this before. Police conducted a ground search Monday morning and they're passing out flyers. So far, no one has reported seeing Cooper. If you have any information call 410-228-4141.

Missing Woolford woman sought

WOOLFORD The Dorchester Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find Woolford resident Agnes Virginia Cooper, 74, of 4613 Harrisville Road, who has been missing since Friday morning.

Cooper was last seen at 11:30 a.m. Friday. According to a sheriff's office press release, Cooper, who suffers from dementia, walked away from her home and was reported missing at 5:17 p.m. Friday by family members.

Deputies find missing elderly woman's body

Foul play not suspected

WOOLFORD Dorchester County Sheriff's deputies found the Woolford woman, who had been missing since last Friday, dead Wednesday at about 9:40 a.m. in a marshy area near Harrisville Road.

According to a sheriff's office press release, Agnes Virginia Cooper, 74, of 4613 Harrisville Road, was found dead about four miles south from her home in an isolated marshy area by deputies doing a ground search.
