Search For Missing Pottsboro Boy Continues

In Grayson County, authorities are searching for a missing 11-year-old boy.
According to the Sheriff's Office, James Michael Hill from Pottsboro was last seen at Pottsboro Middle School around 3:30 Monday afternoon.
Here's a description:


Height: 4'10"
Weight: 85 - 90 lbs.
Brown eyes, black hair with scar above right eye
Last seen wearing dark green polo shirt with black long sleeve undershirt, jeans and black tennis shoes


At this time the Sheriff's Office does not suspect foul play. DPS has been using a helicopter to fly overhead throughout the night and several local agencies are reconvening at daybreak to resume their search efforts.

POTTSBORO, TX -- Grayson County Sheriff's Deputies need your help to find a missing child. Deputies say James Michael Hill was last seen at Pottsboro Middle School at 3:25 p.m. Monday.

Hill is 11 years old, 4' 10" tall, 85 - 90 lbs, has brown eyes, black hair and a scar above his right eye.

He was last seen wearing a dark green polo shirt with black long sleeve undershirt, jeans and black tennis shoes, carrying a binder with drum sticks.

James Hill has only lived in the Pottsboro area for about 3 months.

Investigators do not suspect foul play, but if you've seen Hill, call the Grayson County Sheriff's Office at 903-813-4200.

Missing Pottsboro boy found in Whitesboro

WHITESBORO, TX -- Grayson County Sheriff's Deputies say they've located 11-year-old James Michael Hill in Whitesboro, Texas.

Authorities are still investigating, but say Hill made it to Whitesboro safely and is said to be safe and now with family.

He was last seen at Pottsboro Middle School on Monday afternoon.

The boy left school and walked about 8 miles before he was picked up by a family friend who saw him walking on the roadway. That adult drove the boy to a friend's house in Whitesboro, where an adult was present.

The Grayson County Sheriff's office says Hill has only lived in the Pottsboro area for three months.

No charges will be filed in the case.
