ROSENBERG, TX (KTRK) -- A Rosenberg teen who had been the subject of an Amber Alert has been found safe.

Rosenberg police say Patricia Acevedo has been returned home safely. Authorities issued the Amber Alert early Wednesday for the teen. Authorities suspected she had been abducted by 24-year-old Angel Garcia. She reportedly went willingly with the man yesterday after being dropped off at Foster High School in Rosenberg. But authorities say she contacted her family and told them he would not let her go home.

The Amber Alert has since been canceled and the investigation into her abduction is ongoing.
