GREENSBORO - A North Carolina Silver Alert has been issued for 71-year-old Greensboro woman who failed to show up for her dinner this evening.

Greensboro police are looking for Barbara B. Lewis, who was last seen at a residence at 2006 Cheltenham Boulevard.

Lewis failed to show up for dinner plans she had made at 5 p.m. at a home on Seattle Drive, according to a news release.

Lewis is a white woman, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has a slim build.

She has brown hair, blue eyes and is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

She is believed to be driving a green 1995 Chevrolet S-10 with N.C. tags PYZ-4229.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Guilford Metro 911 headquarters at (336) 373-2222.

Greensboro, N.C. — A Silver Alert was issued late Thursday for a missing Greensboro woman.

Barbara B. Lewis, 71, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. She was last seen at 2006 Cheltenham Blvd.

Lewis is described as a white woman, 5-foot-9, about 130 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She has a slim build, authorities said.

Lewis was last seen wearing a blue sweater, blue jeans and a blue coat.

While Lewis’ direction of travel is unknown, authorities said she had made plans for dinner and failed to show up at her 5 p.m. destination in the 2400 block of Seattle Drive in Greensboro.

Lewis is believed to be traveling in a green 1995 Chevy S-10 with North Carolina tag number PYZ 4229.
