Citrus County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in recovering a missing 14-year-old Homosassa girl who reportedly ran away from her Sugarmill Woods home earlier this week.
The family of Rachael Anne Warren, 3 Chinkapin Circle, told deputies the last time they saw the girl was on Monday, Feb. 23, when she was dressed for bed.
The teen’s mother awoke around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday and found her daughter was no longer in the house. She reported her as missing. It’s unknown at this time as to what Rachael may have been wearing when she ran away from home.
Rachael is a white female, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 105 pounds. She has long brown hair and hazel eyes. Unbeknownst to her mother, the 8th grader at Lecanto Middle School had already missed several days of school before her disappearance.
The teen’s information has been entered into the national data base for missing persons, and deputies have been issued a BOLO (be on the lookout) as well as her photo. Detectives have reason to believe the missing teen may still be in the area.
Anyone with information about Rachael Anne Warren or her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 726-1121 right away.
