Philly 3-year-old safe in Delco; dad sought
Philadephia authorities now say a 3-year-old girl for whom an Amber Alert was issued is safe and sound in Delaware County.
Police say it all began Friday evening when 23-year-old Adam Johnson arrived at the home of his 3-year-old daughter's mother in the city's Cobbs Creek neighborhood to pick her up for the weekend.
Police Lt. John Walker says Johnson and the child's mother got into an argument about child discipline that escalated. Walker says when the mother's current boyfriend stepped out of the house, Johnson fired his gun.
One bullet grazed a 2-year-old girl in the house, but she's expected to recover.
Police say after firing the shots, Johnson grabbed his daughter, whose name, coincidentally, is Amber Johnson, and drove off.
Adam Johnson is still at large, and police are asking anyone who knows his whereabouts to call 9-1-1.

I sure hope this guy is caught sooner then later. I am so glad that Amber was found and is safe. I cannot even imagine what this mother went through with having one daughter taken and another daughter grazed by a bullet. This is getting more and more crazy everyday with what we hear about in cases we hear about DV and children either taken or witness these crimes. There has got to be some answers on how to deal with these issues without someone turning to such violence and sometimes deadly acts.

So glad she is safe. Hope they catch him soon. The family has to be so worried even though she is okay.
Phila. girl, 3, found safe in Delco; father sought
Police have found 3-year-old Amber Johnson, who had been snatched from her mother's West Philadelphia house Friday night. She was returned to her mother.
The child was discovered safe at the home of a friend of her father's in Delaware County. Police were still searching for the father, Adam Johnson, 23, of the 900 block of Belmont Avenue.
Police said he had gone to the mother's home, in the 5900 block of Osage Avenue, to take Amber for the weekend. The couple quarreled, police said, and Johnson fled with the child.
Once outside, police said, Johnson shot at the house, and a bullet grazed the lip of a 6-month-old. The infant was in good condition at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

So very happy Amber was found alive and to be safe. I feel for that 6 month old who was grazed by the shot fired. I just noticed it was his lip and how much of a close call it was, it could have been his head and not just a graze.
Thankful that both children are okay.
Now they need to find this man and prosecute him for attempted murder besides the kidnapping charge...
