Cleveland, OH - Earlier this month 19 Action News reported that the FBI was looking into the possibility that the cases of three missing girls from Cleveland were connected.
Now another teen from the same area is missing.
The latest case, 16-year-old Dynasty Smith. She hasn't been seen since Thursday.
If you have any information and want to get ahold of Dynasty's mom, Loretta Smith, call 216-355-6596.

I think this article says who the other teens are missing in Cleveland referred to in the previous article.

Missing girls in Cleveland

By Meaghan A short awhile ago, the FBI profiled the disappearance of Ashley Summers (http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/summers_ashley.html) on its website. I wondered why they had done so, since she was listed as a runaway. Now I know: according to this article (http://www.fox8.com/news/wjw-missingteens-txt,0,2475384.story), the police think Ashley’s disappearance may be linked with Amanda Berry (http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/berry_amanda.html) and Georgina DeJesus (http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/d/dejesus_georgina.html). Amanda and Georgina are also profiled on the FBI kidnappings page.
All three girls disappeared from the same vicinity in Cleveland. They were all in their teens; Ashley and Georgina were 14, and Amanda was almost 17. Right now the cops are thinking one or more of the girls might have been forced into prostitution. I guess that’s slightly less horrible than the alternative that a serial killer is operating in Cleveland.
Or perhaps the disappearances are unrelated. Perhaps Ashley (who definitely did run away, though what happened to her afterwards is anyone’s guess) is hiding out somewhere and simply doesn’t want to get in touch with her family and friends. I certainly hope so. I don’t have a lot of optimism for the other two, though.

FBI: Another Girl Missing from the west side of Cleveland

The Cleveland office of the FBI is asking for your help in finding a third girl who went missing from a West Cleveland neighborhood.

Three teens from the same area vanish without a trace. Tonight, Police need your help to find them.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cleveland office of the FBI is asking for your help in finding a third girl who went missing from a West Cleveland neighborhood. Two different girls have disappeared from the same area in the last ten years. Ashley Summers disappeared in the summer of 2007. She was last seen not too far from the area near W. 100 and Lorain Avenue where Gina Dejesus vanished almost five years ago and Amanda Berry disappeared almost six years ago.

Ashley's case has not received as much attention because of how she left. "With Ashley, she did run away at first," says Scott Wilson, a spokesman for the FBI. "But, unfortunately, she hasn't been seen since she ran away in July 2007."

Wilson says the FBI is investigating the possibility that the three disappearances are related. And he says agents worry that one or more of the girls may have been forced into prostituition. "It's a problem throughout the country," Wilson says. "Whether that's the case here, we don't know. But, certainly, those are things we have to concern ourselves with."

Ashley's grandmother, Theresa Harris, says, "There's not enough out there to find her. Somebody's got to know something." Our website now has a page dedicated to Northeast Ohio's Most Wanted. On it, you can find a section on missing children that includes information on these three missing girls. The FBI says tips can be anonymous and are treated as confidential. Wilson adds that it's often just one tip from the public that helps agents find missing children.

I had read that Amanda Berry's mom recieved a call from a man stating that he was married to Amanda. That same article said that the call had been traced to Amanda's cell phone. Nothing ever came of that? Considering that these cases could be linked to two others, there is very little news coverage on Dynasty's dissaperance! I sent an email to the local paper, asking if there is any updated information on the search. Hopefully they will do a follow up story and someone's memory will be sparked! :missing:

Sarahhod posted info on Ashley as recently as last Thursday. She also posted info on Amanda and Gina earlier in the same week. They are all still missing. There appears to be so little emphasis on Ashley and Gina. This quote came from one of the articles Sarahhod posted.

"Ashley's case has not received as much attention because of how she left. "With Ashley, she did run away at first," says Scott Wilson, a spokesman for the FBI. "But, unfortunately, she hasn't been seen since she ran away in July 2007."

This doesn't explain how little I have found on Gina. Maybe I am just not searching the right places?
