Police searching for missing autistic man

A disabled and autistic man has been missing from his Shoreline home since Tuesday morning, and Lynnwood police are asking for the public's help in finding him.

Daniel Hunt, 56, was last seen at the Lynnwood Community Transit Park and Ride lot in Lynnwood about noon Tuesday.

"There is also a great concern that he isn't prepared to be out in the cold and inclement weather," Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.

Hunt is 5-feet-6, 165 pounds. He goes by Dan or "Danny.

Anyone with information about Hunts whereabouts is asked to call 911.

Disabled Man Missing From Shoreline Home

LYNNWOOD, Wash. -- A 56-year-old disabled and autistic man has been missing from his Shoreline home since Tuesday morning, said Shannon Sessions from the Lynnwood Police Department.

Daniel Hunt was last seen at the Community Transit Park and Ride lot in Lynnwood around noon Tuesday.

Hunt is in need of his medication and there is also a concern that he isn't prepared to be out in the cold and inclement weather, Sessions said.

Hunt is a white male about 165 pounds and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He is very friendly and goes by Dan or Danny.

Anyone with information should call 911.
