Yadkin County, NC -- The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Jonesville teen.
The alert was issued for Jeffrey Behr, 18, around 6:00 pm Tuesday night.
He was last seen wearing a white bandana, MY baseball cap, grey jacket, blue jeans and brown Timberland boots.
Investigators believe he was possibly headed to Winston-Salem or Greensboro.
Silver Alerts (http://www.nccrimecontrol.org/Index2.cfm?a=000003,000005,000081,001670)are issued for individuals of any age thought to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Authorities Searching for Endangered Man
The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Jeffrey C Behr. He's an 18-year old white man, about 5-7, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. When he went missing yesterday, Behr was wearing a White bandanna, NY baseball cap, grey jacket, and blue jeans with brown Timberland boots. He was last seen as he left his home on Muncus Road in Jonesville, possibly headed to Winston-Salem. Anyone who sees him should contact Tim Gross at the Yadkin County Sheriff's Office: 679-4217. Behr is said to suffer from a cognitive disorder.

Jeffrey Charles Behr
The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office reported that a student missing since the early morning hours of Monday, March 23, was located and returned to Yadkin County safely.
Jeffery Charles Behr was reported missing from his group home in Jonesville when staff went to wake him for school. It is believed he may have the left the home through a window.
He was seen at Hanes Mall by a friend on March 24. Law enforcement expected him to try and reach a former residence in either Greensboro or Rowan County.
A Silver Alert was issued and officials believe this was instrumental in locating Behr and in his safe return. The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons is notified when an alert of this nature is issued.
Behr was located in Greensboro and officials say he was glad to be going back home.
A Silver Alert is issued when an individual over the age of 18 who suffers from dementia or cognitive impairment is reported missing, regardless of circumstances.
