Putnam County Sheriffs and Hurricane Police Searching for Missing Teens

HURRICANE -- Putnam County Sheriffs and Hurricane Police are asking for help to locate two teens.
Seth Pettry is 14 years old. He is 5'10" and weighs 165 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes.
Keya Philips is 14 years old. She is 5'3" and weighs 110 lbs. with blue eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a sky blue Aeropostle jacket.
Both were last seen at 9:30 p. m. Saturday in Hurricane. Police say the two are a couple and may be in the Clendenin/Elkview area. They are entered NCIC as missing juveniles.

Two Putnam County Teens Missing

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ)- Two Hurricane teens have been reported missing. Friends say Seth Pettry and Keya Phillips may be together since the two are dating.

Deputies have released the descriptions of the teens.


Seth Pettry is 5'10 and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Keya Phillips is 5'3 and weighs 110 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen at 9:30 Saturday night with Pettry. She was wearing blue jeans and a sky blue Aeropostle jacket.

Investigators say Keya is from the Clendenin area so they are checking to see if she could have gone there. Information about the teens has been sent to the FBI's National Crime Information Center.

Friends have put up posters and fliers all across the area.

Search continues for missing teens

HURRICANE, W.Va. — Police and anxious parents are searching for two missing teenagers in Putnam County, according to multiple reports.

The teenagers — Keya Phillips and Seth Pettry, both 14 — were last seen Saturday night.

Phillips is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 110 pounds. Pettry is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 160 pounds.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts should contact the Hurricane Police Department, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office or 911.

Does law inforcement and the families think the 2 left on their own free will, or do they know yet. no matter what, i hope they are safe and come home soon.

Oh my. So it sounds like these two 14 y/o kids ran away together. Gee, I sure hope that is the case.

HURRICANE, W.Va. — Two missing teenagers were located Monday morning under a bridge in Putnam County.

The Hurricane Police Department said both teenagers — Keya Phillips and Seth Pettry, both 14 — were found under a bridge about 8:30 a.m. at Tackett's Branch Road. They had been last seen Saturday night.

Phillips is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 110 pounds. Pettry is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 160 pounds.
