Oregon City police seek missing man

Oregon City police are asking for the public's help in finding a 57-year-old man missing since Thursday.

James Aloysuis Bartley hasn't been seen since he left his house Thursday morning, police said.

Bartley may be driving his white four-door Nissan Maxima, with Oregon license plates YDD-604.

There was no indication where Bartley may have been headed or whether foul play was involved.

Anyone with information on Bartley's whereabouts is asked to call Oregon City Police at 503-657-4964 or to call 9-1-1.

Oregon City police say a 57-year-old man missing since Thursday has turned up in Newport, safe and sound.

James Aloysuis Bartley was picked up by Newport police at a motel room and will be returned to Oregon City.

Lt. Lisa Nunes, Oregon City police spokeswoman, said Bartley had appeared to be depressed after suffering personal problems but was in good physical condition.

Oregon City police put out a call for the public's help Saturday in locating Bartley.
