CERES, CA - Investigators are searching for a missing Ceres teen who disappeared nearly two weeks ago after failing to return home from a party, a Ceres police spokesman said.
Jasmine Bertram, 19, was last seen around 7:30 p.m. on March 20 when she told family members that she was going to a party with an unknown female friend, Ceres police Sgt. Patrick Sullivan said.
Bertram was supposed to be home around 10 p.m., but never returned.
Sullivan said that while Bertram has been known to disappear for days in the past, vanishing for 11 days is unusual.
While she had no known medical problems, Sullivan said Bertram apparently checked herself in to a Modesto hospital on March 22, but left. The circumstances surrounding her stint at the hospital were not immediately clear.
Bertram is blind in one eye and had a birthmark that covers half of her face.
Anyone with information about her disappearance was asked to call the Ceres police tipline at 209-538-5740.
