The strike is going to interfere with every show. I heard on the news today, all the actors and actresses support the writers EXCEPT for the Oscars. They will attend the Oscars as it is the "Big" event of the year. With friends like that, the writers don't need enemies. :rolleye0001:

I love PA but she does not have that great taste in clothes or hairdo's when dressing up. One award show she had hair that looked like she used soup cans to roll it. Bug huge rolls of hair, like Pricess Lia of Star War fame but rolled out.

Her real life wedding dress looked midevil that was fine but she wore this gawdy silver headpiece that went over her forehead completely and over her ears.

Count me in as a HUGE fan of the television hit "Medium." I love the storylines and the family dynamic. I also love that PA is a full-figured woman. I'd give anything to know where the wardrobe department buys those gorgeous tops "Alison" wears.

Actually, its kinda cute. Katie Holmes got the same hair cut a month ago and you would have thought she started the trend. But we know these shows for this series was filmed before Ms. Holmes got her new do.


BTW: This is Super Tuesday and CBS & ABC will be doing coverage of it all evening. I'm not sure about NBC, but be prepared to tune into something else.

Some shows that started in Sept have held back airing a couple of shows for Feb sweeps. One such show is Brothers and Sisters. Rob Lowe was on TV today and said 2 new shows will be aired this Feb.

I know what you mean about the nighties. I always loved wearing raggy long t-shirts and such but there came a time when I didn't know who was going to be walking into my house (the teen years, LOL). Had to start wearing something "decent" and decided that as long as I had to, I might as well find pretty, matching stuff (in the clearance rack of course). Now I even hang my nighties and little robes on hangers!

Ironically, I have a picture of my mother taken about 1928 with the identical hairdo... only her hair was black. LOL I'll have to see about scanning it so you can see.

Ok....last night as I started watching the show, Allison had lost her hearing and got back home from the doctor. She started screaming thinking it would make her hear and scared the kids. I got a LD call and that all I saw? What happened??????

Allison had a dream that showed a child being kidnapped, the child was deaf. The men had hoods on during the kidnapping. Allison woke up with no hearing.

Angelica Houston character called her about the case. Since Allison couldn't hear, Joe took over as her ears and typed everything out on the computer.

The child was being held for 5 million $.

The step father of the child was considered very rich and Angelica was the go between for the kidnappers and the family as the father refused to let the police help. Step Dad phoned the insurance company as he had insurance for kidnapping that he thought would pay out before the ransom was paid but was informed the money had to be paid out first and then he could apply for the insurance.

Allison dream't of a cabin and there was a mug logo in the dream that led them to a wilderness area close to the parents home. The step dad could only come up with 3 million in the short amount of time. Step Dad and Angelica came to blows about calling the police.

Allison had another dream that the child saw one of the kidnappers face.

Houston called in the detective (Alison's friend brain fart on his name) and he took her to go through police photo's to see if she could identify him. She found the guy's picture and they had his name.

Houston went to the wife and told her the kidnapper had ties with the father as he worked for him for a period of time. The fathers had a financial guy who was working on getting the $ and when confronted with the guy's history he told the wife that the business that the step dad owned had been run into the ground and that there was no money.

The wife then told them that her dad had a cabin in the area that had not been used for a long time.

Pieces fell into the place that the step dad had arranged the kidnapping for the insurance$. Stepdad is shown going into the cabin with 1million to pay off the kidnappers and keeping 2 million for himself in effect he could claim 3 million from the insurance.

The kidnappers told the stepdad that the child has seen his face and then passed the stepdad a gun and said we have dug a hole in the back for you and the kidnappers left. Stepdad went and grabbed the girl with the gun and told her he was sorry. As he went to the door of the cabin and opened it the police were there with guns drawn. He was arrested, and girl taken home to mom.

Allison had fallen asleep deaf but woke up with her hearing. So during this story the daughter was deaf but once she was returned to her mom Allison's hearing returned.

That's about it.

Once again this week, in the episode where "Allison" and her daughter worked together on a case, Allison was shown wearing man-jamas. lol lol

I have no idea why she wears such lovely tops, yet her nightwear is just plain ugly. But then, maybe if she wore feminine gowns to bed, she wouldn't dream up those case scenarios, because "Joe" and she would be awake more. lol lol lol

Huston as "Allison's" boss doesn't work in my opinion either....It looks like Huston's stint is almost over and "Allison's" relationship with former boss "Devalos" and "Det. Lee Scanlon" will once again reignite. I can't wait.

I wish they would do more episodes, and more consecutively aired episodes....like the days of old. I never know if after 4 episodes, the show will go into a break. I hate that!

A beautiful woman speaks directly to the viewing audience, as she attends a grief counseling session looking for a lonely man. After the session, they sleep together in the young man's car in the church parking lot. While doing so, for a second time she speaks to the audience, again suggesting that in order to move on to the next person, you must get rid of the current. So she stabs him in the back. Turns out the beautiful woman, played by Rosanna Arquette, wrote a series of books about how to get a man to become infatuated with you. Whenever Allison dreamed of someone getting murdered using a chapter from the books, she saw "Rosanna" as the murderer.

Turns out the head of the woman's publishing company, a guy, was in an elevator with Scanlon during the last 5 minutes of the show, and he propositioned Det. Scanlon in a manner that had been described to Scanlon as a ploy straight from the book. So Scanlon KNEW then the murderer was this guy.

Interesting episode.
