Allegan team investigating lead in 1994 disappearance

ALLEGAN, Mich. (WZZM) - The The Allegan County Focused Investigation Team is looking into a lead in the 1994 disappearance of Charles Starrett.
Starrett was reported missing on July 11, 1994. He was last seen on July 5, 1994 at his home in Allegan Mobile Estates and/or at Riverside Market convenience store in Allegan.
Starrett was almost 52 years old at the time of his disappearance and would be almost 67 years old today. The Team is currently investigating a substantial lead; however, they are asking anyone with additional information to please contact them.

ALLEGAN -- A cold-case team has a lead in the 1994 disappearance of an Allegan man and is looking for help from the public in solving the case, police said Friday.
Charles Starrett was 52 years old when he was reported as missing on July 11, 1994. He was last seen on July 5, 1994 at his home at Allegan Mobile Estates and possibly at the Riverside Market convenience store, according to the Allegan County Sheriff's Office.
The Allegan County Focused Investigation Team is probing Starrett's disappearance and has received a ``substantial'' lead, according to a news release.
Investigators ask that anyone who may have information about Starrett call Allegan County sheriff's detective Pat O'Reilly at (269) 673-0500, ext. 4263, or Michigan State Police trooper Scott Ernstes at (269) 792-2213, ext. 346.
