HFTM is proud to announce our April Volunteer of the Month

TigressPen

TigressPen spends a great deal of her time here in updating missing person threads. She continually searches for any new information on the missing we have listed. She also makes sure she posts a little something on every new missing person we get. So many places will list a person and that's the end of it.. but with the help of dedicated people like Tigress, we are able to let people know that there is either no new info out there or the latest info is posted.

Thank you so much for naming me as Volunteer of the month. I am honored in a way I can't voice. I know so many more members deserve recognition more than I do.

Thank you Pauli, Admins and Mods for making HFTM a place to feel comfortable coming too. God forbid, if I ever had a missing loved one or dear friend, this is where I'd come knowing I could find dedication from others in giving me all the help and support I needed to keep hope alive... and ways to go about getting information out to the public.

Faith you do the most beautiful animations of anyone I know. I love those roses! Thank you for the vote of confidence in me with volunteer of month. I admit that I do get frustrated when the media doesn't pick up on a local missing person unless LE sends out a press release. And that is all they announce. So many need more press. I get frustrated when I send emails out to them and they don't reply too.

All missing are important and not just a select few.

Thank you my sweet friend. You're most welcome, you do a great job here and we all appreciate it. I get frustrated also, hard not to. The media could pick up one missing person per hour and give 1 minute to any missing person to help get the word out but I suppose they see fit not to.

Thank you, Grande. I really do like it here. I think moral support to the families of missing is in abundance here and they need that too. Hope can survive through a faceless smile of a stranger on boards such as HFTM.

What a gorgeous pic, nanabillie! One of my favorite things to do is sit and watch it rain. In early hours of morn just as sun rises a slow misting rain just makes florals glow. That is what your pic reminded me of too.

Thanks you to all who have congratulated me on being named volunteer of month. The recognition means more than I can say and has over the past week given me the incentive to keep hope because no matter what I am dealing with, others are dealing with far greater.
