Our 17 year old daughter, Amanda Elkins is missing. She is vulnerable and considered an endangered teen due to mental health issues.

She has been missing since January 8, 2007 from Leesburg, VA. It is our hope that if everyone passes this on, someone may recognize our daughter.

We read on the Internet other missing children and adults have been found this way.

Please forward this to everyone in your address book. It is our prayer and hope that our daughter will be found. If you are a person of faith, please pray for the safe return of our daughter.

A Leesburg teenager missing since last week was found unharmed Saturday, police said Monday.

Leesburg police had been searching for 17-year-old Amanda Anne Elkins, who left her home at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of White Horse Court.

Police on Monday morning said Elkins was found near the Leesburg Wal-Mart, 950 Edwards Ferry Road, and released to the custody of her father.
