as reported in yesterday's paper. Says "it's a great break. It's almost like I can live a normal life."
He also talked about which actor he'd like to see play him in the movie versionof his life. **insert the puke icon**
As he was being interviewed, the reporter noticed a figurine of a man standing next to a little girl and he joked that it was of him and Stacy back in 1988. It was given to both he and Stacey as a joke.

ITA. The man isn't right in the head. I don't believe the Letter stating Stacy was spotted in another state. I think he somehow had that mailed. IMO

How can he say that he can almost live a normal life?
His wife is missing!
The mother of his children!
What ever happened to the autopsy of his other wife?

BOLINGBROOK -- Drew Peterson's next-door neighbor took exception to the embattled ex-cop's assessment that his life has returned to normal despite his wife having gone missing more than two months ago.
"Things are not normal. Normal is not children going through Christmas without their mother," said the neighbor, Sharon Bychowski.
"And normal people don't get publicists," Bychowski added.
Asked about the scarcity of media personnel outside his home last week, Peterson said, "It's a great break -- it's almost like I can live a normal life."
Peterson, whose wife, Stacy, vanished Oct. 28, also mentioned he had attained the services of a Florida-based publicist. The publicist declined to grant Peterson permission to discuss his experiences as an undercover officer with a narcotics unit in the 1980s with the local press.
"If the networks are paying for it, I can't give it away," Peterson explained.
None of this sits well with Bychowski.
"I'm in awe of this, what he gets away with," she said.
Investigation still ongoing
State police have named Peterson a suspect in the "potential homicide" of his missing wife.
Charles B. Pelkie, a spokesman for the state's attorney's office, said the investigation of Stacy Peterson is ongoing, no charges have been filed, and there were no public statements to be made about it.
State police also have reopened their investigation of the mysterious March 2004 death of Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio. State police Special Agent Herbert Hardy testified at a May 2004 inquest into Savio's death that investigators found no indications of foul play.
Savio was found dead in a waterless bathtub. After hearing Hardy's testimony, a coroner's jury ruled her death an accidental drowning.
Candlelight vigil
Bychowski said Stacy's friends and family are far from giving up on finding the missing mom. In fact, they will hold a candlelight vigil at 4 p.m. Sunday at Living Water Community Church, 190 Lily Cache Lane, to celebrate her life and keep her memory alive.
Stacy's aunt Candace Aikin will make the trip in from California for the vigil.
"I would like to say thank you to all the people for all their prayer," Aikin said. "Our family appreciates all their prayers and all their support."
The friends and family of Stacy Peterson also have organized a fundraising effort March 2 at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park. Money raised at the event will go toward funding searches for Stacy.
But even if she is found and closure is brought to the case, things will never be the same on her street.
"Normal," Bychowski said. "What's normal? Normal is Stacy Peterson being on Pheasant Chase Court."

I'll bet DP really doesn't like Sharon. lol
Not the quote about the publicist...his time as an undercover narc...I wonder if he's sending a message to some of his LE peers. If they charge him, he'll talk about what he knows. hmmmm

they found massive bruise marks. They now believe that Kathleen Savio didn't just die in the bathtub.......that foul play was involved.

Thanks.
So I suppose they can't prove that Peterson had anything to do with it?

I believe the case is now open again. Of course there is motive, but placing him near the home and or if he had help.......it's not been talked about much, and I usually have info, but not this time. I've kinda called in all my 'favors' pretty much.
But the new news is Peterson's attorney is trying to divert attention, (once again) away from his client and to some mysterious man who sent a text message to Stacy via her cellphone. Some graphic sexual details were discussed about some night they spent together, and Peterson says he found the message when he was playing around with Stacy's 'purple' cell phone sometime in December.

Legally, Stacy will have to be declared dead before he can remarry and that could take years (7 at least), unless he can go through divorce in that state on grounds of desertion. I don't know if those grounds for divorce are available in his state.

not sure if there is not a body though....if that works here in Illinois. The 7 years.
Well......he can live with another woman and I'm sure there will be some person out there who thinks, "ohhhh, he's innocent." :a1chic:

I wonder if he skis. Might be nice for him to go snow skiing.......where there are zillions of trees in his path as he starts down hill.
Sorry......I got carried away. :022:

BOLINGBROOK -- The law labeled Drew Peterson a suspect in his wife's disappearance, but the ex-cop says there's no shortage of ladies willing to take her place.
Peterson said he visited a local tavern this weekend and was the object of female attention, with women buying him drinks and offering him their telephone numbers.
"I turn heads," he said. "It's not something I want. It's like, 'Yeah, it's me.'"
And Peterson does not even have to go out on the town to find women. He had one come right up to his house to leave an invitation to meet her on his mailbox.
"Drew," reads the note, which was written on a scrap of envelope, "My name is Ashley. I just want you to know I believe you! Sorry you have to go through this. If u need someone to talk to you can call me - Ashley."
The only problem is, Ashley neglected to leave her phone number on the note. Peterson made it clear it would be fine with him if she came back to leave it. He also said he watched from his window as she pulled up in her car to leave the note.
"She drove by, blowing me kisses," he said.
Peterson is not the only one enjoying public adulation. His attorney, Joel Brodsky, said he recently received three complimentary e-mails in a single day -- which for him was a flood of good feeling.
"I'd get the occasional nice one," he said, but noted his mailbox usually contained numerous obscene and insulting messages that sometimes end with "I hope you die."
"There were days I would get seven, eight, 10," Brodsky said. "Then they started to taper off. Now they seemed to shift to the positive."

I guess there are still more stupid women in the world who will take on any man, just to be his next battering ram or dead victim. IMO

I just hope one of those women is really an undercover cop trying to get the goods on him.
(And that at least is a cross-dressing man that will give 'ole Drewpy the shock of his life!)
