Good Morning & Good Afternoon too!

I haven't been here for awhile, so don't know if I would have had problems.

I have a virus or something going on, and have for several days. I am up and about trying to eat and soon back to bed.

Just thought I would stop in and say HELLO! :0012: HELLO!

Roamer==you have internet via DirectTV????? Did you mean you have been having trouble with this website?... FYI, I have AT&T DSL and I've been having trouble too.

Orchid Corsage==Good Morning/Afternoon to you too, OC!

You guys wanna hear something sad? When I read OC's "I have a virus or something going on..." I was all upset, then I read on and realized she meant a physical/medical kinda virus. My panic was when I thought her COMPUTER had a virus. How sad is that?

Pretty sad, Pat, because..... that's the way I read it too. It's official. We are macaroons (see thread in Open Discussion).

I don't have Dish for Internet, Pat. I'm stuck with Hughes until August. Just for my TV, but I'm sick and tired of Direct, and they charge way too much. About $30 more than Dish.

ASK!
It is amazing what you can get without cost if you have limited funds.
Many examples are known to me as I had to ask too. You do not need to be on welfare = ask=it costs nothing to ask=when you get the info=tell others about it!

LOOK here~

US Dep't of Health and Human Services
web site
http://findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov/

"Federally-funded health centers care for you, even if you have no health insurance. You pay what you can afford, based on your income. Health centers provide

1. checkups when you're well
2. treatment when you're sick
3. complete care when you're pregnant
4. immunizations and checkups for your children
5. dental care and prescription drugs for your family
6. mental health and substance abuse care if you need it

Health centers are in most cities and many rural areas.

Type in your address and click the 'Find Health Centers' button to find health centers near you.
[form is on the page]

Please contact the health center to schedule an appointment or find out if the health center may provide services even closer to you..."

==You paid taxes for many years=you deserve help when you need it.
You are welcome to ask here or PM me any time.==

PatC- She doesn't have to wear makeup. I will be fixing her hair and thats about it.[/QUOTE]

Grins==it's interesting, isn't it that Americans, by and large may love a bargain but eschew haggling, while (from what I've read) other cultures find haggling over price a way of life and wouldn't think of paying the asking price without at least trying to get it lowered.

Good resources here.

The only time I've ever had dental insurance was when I worked for someone who had it as part of their insurance plan. :sad0119:

Honestly, I didn't even catch it in PAT's post. I read it like four times before I caught on. Typos are sometimes hysterical.

My favorite one occurred in a Yahoo chat when a friend told me to "hang on a sex" :0t31:

One interesting thing about being at the sleep study... I notice the woman's silver jewelry and as I said, "Lissa, your earrings, the Star of David...." She finished by saying, "yes, I'm Jewish." I told her my brother married a Jew and he converted after they'd been married about ten years... that his wife looked like she was from Ireland due to her vivid red hair, but, was actually of Lithuanian heritage. Lissa added she was an Irish Jew, born a Jew, but, was a Christian, so that was a surprise.

She said she was healed years ago from a major paralysis and knew then where she belonged. She bought the earrings in Jerusalem prior to her religious experience.

My avatar girl will be performing with her class at a dance recital Saturday night. Most of her relatives will be in the audience and her mom will be backstage helping. Baby sister Gracie, 20 months, will be somewhere else. She is convinced she gets to do whatever Isabella does and it's thought if she were to see Isabella on stage, she would create a ruckus wanting to be up there.

The weekend will be crazy for them as tomorrow they close on the sale of their home and the new, then immediately the move begins. My daughter will be there watching the girls and part of the time so will I watching her watch them... hehe

Grins, and other friends, I have good news. My sister that has been an alcoholic for years told me last night she is in an alcohol and drug rehab program. A couple of months ago she had three seizures, was taken to the hospital and spent four days. I didn't know anything about it. When I found out no one would tell me anything. Last night Debbie said, "I didn't want to tell you I'm an alcoholic". I said, Debbie, I knew that. She said, "But I
had to be able to tell you that ". I could really tell a difference. She said when she got to the hospital she had all sorts of drugs, uppers, downers, etc. , along with the alcohol and it was killing her. She goes three hours a day, three days a week.
I made a statement of something like, you aren't going to ever drink again. She said, "Billie, I won't drink today. That is all we can say." She then repeated the Serenity prayer. I know she is on the road to recovery and I know it won't be easy. Remember her in your prayers, too, please.

She said the right things Billie. I am so happy for her and you!
We do take it one day at a time and that is enough. If I can help in any way PM me.
You are welcome to copy any posts of mine to pass on.

Tell her a guy with 12 years and eight months sober did it one day at a time too. Each day we do the next right thing.

To your dear sister I say,
Welcome to the recovery family.
Stay with people in recovery is my wish for you.
We will
never
never
no never be alone again.
My prayers for you start now; I ask for yours~~~

12 steps out of depression~

For me, step 11 is the key to what I do and how I operate each day. Most of all, I need wisdom and direction. Who is the wisest Person I know?

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

,,,,,but I need to listen for Orders From Headquarters. Then, be ready to act and trust my God for the rest.

Yesterday, making a swath through Walmart's produce dept to pick up some vanilla yogurt covered pretzels (which I discovered in the area where they have dehydrated banana slices), I saw a table of nuts. A 12 oz bag of SHELLED brazil nuts for 4.98. I'm often picking through a can of mixed nuts for this type nut, so, now I have many. :girl_haha: The pretzels and banana slices have the same "Good Sense" label. Apparently, both are popular and they were almost out of yogurt covered pretzels, so I bought 3. Am currently really liking them, so don't want to run out. )))))))

In a way, I think it is one last "dig" at my Mama. SS hated my Mom, would not let her in her house. Papa could go but not Mama. That went on for a long time. She would take him a Christmas present to their house that would say, To my Daddy. She sure can't hurt my Mama, though. Praise the Lord.
Then one year while Mama and Pop were at the beach for their anniversary, his first wife killed herself. After that, not during the funeral and all. That was still kinda rough, but later she was better. The day before Mama died she said with me holding Mama's hand saying she would be an angel soon. ??? She's strange.

Yes, and Wic says:

"The participants in the kiss were never confirmed by Eisenstaedt. Life, however, accepted nurse Edith Cullen Shain's claim to this honor in a handwritten letter to Eisenstaedt 35 years later. Over 20 men have claimed to be the sailor, but none has been positively identified."

However, since then there is a story about finding the man in the pic. he has been identified and living in TX.

Good Morning! I went and sold tickets for Alexis yesterday for her to be queen. We sold $70 worth yesterday. Some of the other girls have 2 weeks on us already, I guess I need to get the move on. So, I have put in a few phone calls to friends that live far away and they are mailing me a check for some tickets. I have only 2 weeks to sell the most. I sure hope we can pull this off.

morning, all's y'alls.......... I'll catch up later. Seems like all have been up and attum this morning. Have gone barefoot all my life when inside. Miserable with shoes on in the house.

Billie, I'm so sorry for your loss. Glad about your sis.

Pat: looking forward for the story....I have never heard it. I cannot go barefoot now. I cannot even walk across the porch barefoot because I can feel even the smallest grain of sand on my feet now. I watch my youngest grandson run barefoot and marvel at how tough his feet are. I constantly beg him to wear his shoes.

Good news for my hubby, the surgeon is able to save his finger.:basic44:

He will be having reconstuctive surgury as soon as it is approved by WCB...as ugly as it looked before it has healed. His finger will be deformed but at least he didn't need to amputate it...

Thanks for all those prayers...his prayers (an mine) were answered and hopefully will soon be on the road to recovery...:basic44:Oh happy day!

LLL: So glad your husband will not lose his finger. I wish him all the best in his recovery process. Make sure he gets a surgeon that specializes in that. My son had reconstructive surgery on his hand after an accident. The surgeon was a brillaint, small oriental man who performed miracles on people'e hands, etc. I had another doctor tell me that it was like watching a majician do micro surgery.

Grins: I had to smile at you describing yourself as barefoot. I would actually like to be brave enough to go barefoot, but I have phobias now about injuring my feet. Even my sandals have to be semi-closed......and forget flip flops, etc. I will dispatch a large snake without blinking an eye, but barefoot.....no more.

=cool eh, Guys?

Morning Grins and Ya'all! :mornincoffee:

Ahh Grins, John Wayne, loved him! That looks so familiar to me, either my fil had the picture or maybe the clock. I remember when being very young lol as a family we went to the movies (called a show then) to see, The High and the Mighty! I think that was one of very few we ever went as a family.

Nanabillie so sorry to hear about the passing of your father, my condolances to you dear Nanabillie.

LLL also good news to hear your DH will not lose his finger. What a blessing!

PatC, sounds like you are busy! Also the car and bullet was my favorite KC story too! You are a nut! A lots of fun nut too!

Ali love to read what healthy food you find. I eat a lot of yogurt but never had the pretzels with yogurt. I need to slow down when shopping and see what I am missing. (I look like the Road Runner in the grocery store.) I do eat a lot of plain yogurt and wish there was a way to keep the water from settling out. It is always stir stir stir!

AmyE, good luck to your daughter and your all of your efforts. The dress looked darling.

Texanne, rest up to get ready for the little ones! How much fun you will have tho. I have to wait till July for our little ones to visit here. I am so anxious to see them. LOL they come and pick all the flowers!

Well didn't get to sleep until about 5, so my brain is kinda dead, but more reading to do to play catch=up! :INhouseReading04:

Grins- It is a local event, called "Frontier Days". We have it once a year. It starts June 11th with gospel singing, June 12 is parade and fun games for kids, and June 13 is drawings, give aways, and crowing ceremony.

The parade will include all of love county fire, police, and ambulance services, car clubs, queen contestants, bicycle riders, gunfighters, horses, race cars, etc...

Games include turtle races, egg races, etc...

My granny does know a man who owns older cars but we have yet to be able to get ahold of him. Would love to have an old caddy like that. Just beautiful!

I always wanted a Cadillac, Grins....especially when I was younger. When I was a teenager, one of the boys had a cadillac convertible. Let's just say that he was not very pretty. He would take my friends and I for rides in it....top down around town, waving at people. I am a little ashamed to admit that we would take turns on who had to sit next to him. The arguement was..."no way, I sat by him last time....it's your turn!". I can't believe I was that shallow.

We have gone through a big change in our store. Some items have been added, I am in the process of still adding more. It will take me a week or so to get it where we want it to be. Go in, check it out.. tell us what you think. I still have a few headers on some of the pages to change out to the new logo...

I don't have our logo shirts added yet, I designed a new logo to go with the logo on the top of the board.. plus a couple of others. I will have them loaded by the end of this week.

See something we should have but don't... let me know and I will try to get it in there.

This is going to be a continuing project and will have new things added weekly. I am working with a company right now that I will be adding their line of shirts at a good discount.. and we will still be able to make a bit of a profit to be able to help family members of missing persons out when they need it and still be able to offer them at a low price.

There is a permanent link on the side of the front page..

A seriously bad habit my brother has had for years is I will make a statement and next thing I know, he will explain to me what I am talking about. It is infuriating. I sometimes wonder if people who do that are truly oblivious or do they simply not care, so long as they speak and apparently think what they say on the subject is better, which, isn't likely to be true.

He sounds like someone whose greatest joy is the sound of his own voice.

BTW, back in the mid-late 70s the area known as New Orleans East, where I lived at the time, began being populated with Vietnamese families. Now I have nothing against them and got along with every one I met. There WAS however some resistance.

Several oriental food restaurants opened up and a group of co-workers and I used to go to one or the other of them every Friday for lunch. There had been so much made of their custom of considering dogs a food source that I could never bring myself to order anything other than a shrimp dish... I could tell for sure what was in it by looking. :0t31:

Hi, Louise!

Hi Ali  I haven't been around much for a few days apart from reading a bit of stuff as Sandy cough got worse again a couple of days ago almost like it was before we found out what her problem was a few weeks ago and I wasn't getting to sleep until around 4am both days. It has been really humid due to it raining so I think that has affected her a lot, it is better this evening so will probably sleep better tonight. She started the medication tonight that the vet recommended so we are hoping it will ease the problem a bit. She seems better than this time last night and the night before, thankfully.

I enjoy BOTH of you as well. This is my home away from home.

Louise, I'm glad Sandy is better tonight.

Pat, I'll be driving over to family tomorrow. I've thought the dance recital was to be tomorrow night, but, it's 12:30, so much earlier. I told my daughter I'm so glad someone thought to tell me. )))))))
Thanks Ali.

Beautiful pictures as usual, Grins.

We're gonna miss Pat today I think. Wish we could get some of her crab salad. Yummy!

Heard talk about yodeling back in the thread -- I love to listen to yodelers. And whistlers too. When we lived in the city back in the day we had a guy who came past the house whistling every evening about the same time. So nice!

Hope this medicine doesn't upset Sandy's stomach too much, Louise.

Ali, my BIL does that. Every statement I make he finishes it. Can't get a word in edgewise. Hahaaa. I react and cuss him out and he thinks it funny and then does it even more. I think he's doing it on purpose to get a rise out me and it works.

morning, y'all...

Love the Charlie Browns, Grins, and the pix.

Packy, you're right. Plus, never in the history of his life has he ever finished my sentence with what I intended to say. Sometimes I think he thinks his aim in life is to correct the world. How dare he presume to think he is smart enough to correct anyone when he needs to just take care of himself. Of course, this trait is not exclusive to him. I have a cousin who does the same. It's so obnoxious.

Good morning, Klatchers! Sunny bright morning here. Grins....still running that song title through my noggin...LOL. The children around here are waking up to their first day of summer vacation from school. I only have one boy here today....the other went to spend a few days with his mom.
Packy: We had a whistler too when I was a small child. All the children in the neighborhood would hear him coming, and whisper.."here comes the whistler". I remember his whistling was beautiful....but there was something scary about him. So, when I hear whistling...I have a mixed reaction to this day.

I hope everyone enjoys a great summer. Mine is starting off a little rough...story some time later.

Grins: I have some faint memory of a radio show called "The Whistler". Maybe that is where we got the idea that he was scary. I also remember staring out a front window at our whistler standing under the street light on the corner across from our house just after dark. Jeez...there you go jogging memories again. I used to go to my older sister to straighten out old memories of when we were small, but she is gone now. I wonder what she could tell me about the whistler.

We are supposed to get our boat back for the first time since Hurricane Ike. It was in the shop when the storm hit. A lot of their boatyard and shops were badly damaged. It took them a long time, and then they were dealing with backlog. We told them to go ahead and work on the boats of people who fished during the winter. My daugters love that boat. I will go offshore a couple of times this summer...but am not too fond spending hours at a time on a boat. As a matter of fact, my favorite part is returning home with the dolphins playing in front of the boat. Now you know why I have a dull avatar.

Good Morning Grins, Ali, texanne, Louise, & Packy!

It is going to be a beautiful day here at the ole homestead! WC was just going on about wonderful conditions for hiking today in PA. Well my hike will be the grocery store. lol

I was on the porch looking for some hummingbirds. They seem to be late this year or maybe they don't like my food. Once in awhile one comes along, but not like last year. Last year we had one we named 'Grumpy', he thought he was the boss and would chase the others away. There was only one other hummer he would allow to share the feeder. Maybe she was his mate. He would sit on top of the pole and she would come out of the bush and he was fine with her using the feeder. I would know him if he came back as he was, short, very stalky and also appeared kind of older than the rest.

I found a cute pic, note a good line for his is "don't stand under the feeder"!

Louise, I sure hope Sandy is doing better. Poor little doggy. It's so hard to see them sick.

I was in the middle of a huge catfight the other night. Doof just stood up on his back legs to look up on the couch and for God knows what reason, Sebastian just flew at him. They went at it right at my feet with fur flying! I'm yelling but the fight just continued on and on. They went clear around the living room. I got a spray bottle and tried spraying Sebastian but it didn't work. Poor Doof was traumatized for hours! Jeff told me I should have grabbed Sebastian but I asked him if he'd done lost his mind! Everyone knows you do not walk into a catfight unless you want yourself shredded.

Yeppers. Doof is a seal bi color Ragdoll and he'll be 17 in August. Poor little guy is really slowing down now. Jumping up is getting difficult for him now, but he was always kind of like that. I can remember him standing on his back legs digging through a box for this curly cord he LOVED. He looked just like a little fur person.

Chuck's First Crush

Charlie is in love with 'the little red-headed girl', the very one he fancied in 'Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown'. But he's not got the courage to talk to her and frequently makes a laughing stock of himself with every attempt. Plus, everybody is making fun of him and Snoopy is not lending a sympathetic ear, as usual.

The emotional turmoil Charlie suffers is alarmingly true. Everybody remembers their first crush and how awkward it made them feel. It's little touches of reality like this in the far-fetched but wonderful world of Peanuts that make it so timeless

Bacccccccccccccccck from the recital and visiting... Am listening to a fabulous concert on PBS. Homage to Johnny Lee Wills and others of his caliber. The best of the best fiddlers.

I heard about Bob Wills in my late teens, but, never got to see him in person. His brother, Johnny Lee... many many years later, I stood with others in front of the fellows as they played. The scars of life on Johnny Lee's face are still in my mind. It seemed to me he must have been everywhere and seen everything to have the look he had. (Please don't anyone explain it to me... LOL)

My first husband and the father of my children was crazy about Bob Wills, who played in Ardmore OK, now and then, before he headed for Los Angeles. When we were dating he wouldn't take me to see him because he said it wasn't a good place to take a girl. I thought when we got married I could go. Well, no. It was no place to take his wife. He wasn't going either, I might add. haha

In later years, turns out my second husband (in his younger years) played in Bob Wills band. Played mandolin. He didn't stay with the band but a few months, as that's not what he planned doing. I have that mandolin, but, can't play it.

Last week there was a full rehearsal of the recital, which I'm told went off without a hitch. So today, Isabella announced she thought they'd already HAD the recital. She was ready to play in her costume rather than have it on a hanger to carry to the site. But, she was willing, after having her fill of pizza, to head for the place and go backstage with her mom. The others of us found decent seats in the large auditorium.

Isabella was in two numbers. I'll have pitchers in a few days. She and her family are moving this weekend, so, things are not calm at home. Isabella clearly knew her routines and didn't watch any of the other dancers to see what to do. She knew what to do and did us proud. She caused a laugh when the last number ended, she immediately turned on her heel and trotted off stage all by herself. Other girls were watching a Dora CD back in the dressing room and she didn't want to miss any more of it. LOL

Ahhh, Billie! Hello, Charlie Brown. )))))))

Y'all excuse me for monopolizing the klatch tonight. LOL Well, me and Charlie Brown.

Yesterday, when my daughter Gwen was here, she was about to leave. I was barefoot and mentioned how it wouldn't be long before she and I were same height. Her shoes had one inch heels, so she slipped them off and I'm still a little taller. Used to be a lot taller. She is 5' 2". I've shrunk to 5' 3plus". Bending my knees and looking up at her, saying it wouldn't be long before that would happen... she was laughing, saying no no no. So I became Quasimodo, letting my arms swing loosely as I bent over loping around her as I said, "When I get like this you and Donnie can decide what you're going to do with me." She kept laughing, "I'm leaving, Mom... If you ever get like that, I'm still going to leave." So, I kissed her bye. "I'll see ya tomorrow."

Ali, that is how I feel like I look. I sure wish I had tried to have better posture during my formative years. Now I have some curvature and with the gained weight, I hate the way I look.
We have been working at physical therapy trying to strengthen my shoulder muscles but afterward the pain is so bad I can hardly stand it. I don't know if I can keep it up, or if it is even helping. I have to put my tens unit on to block the pain. Maybe I can start making my kids laugh. If I got to see them. Another story, another day.

I know you are so proud of Isabella and I can't wait to see the pics.

Good Morning Everyone... Didja miss me yesterday???

Yesterday's BBQ came off without a hitch. Two of KC's daughters were here, apparently one of the twins was being a drama queen and stayed home. My other son and his two kids were here as well as both my BILs and FIL. Two of KC's best friends came over too. KC's widow was here and the mother of his daughter.... nope, no tension there, really! They're very good friends.

Along with the crab salad, I grilled chicken and smoked sausage, had hot dogs with all the trimmings including chili, and baked beans... and chips and dips. The kids wore themselves out in the pool so I guess the water wasn't too cold for them... not sure I'm ready for it yet though.

I was pretty worn out by the time every one left... my invitations had said from 1PM till 7PM and that's about what it turned out to be. I did so much enjoy having everyone here... but by 7PM I was ready for everyone to go home. Know what I mean?

The women were so sweet in helping clean up and put away before they left and the kids "policed" the yard so there's not a lot left for today.

We did the "balloon thing", where we have helium balloons, write a message to KC and release it. The younger kids were just more into playing with the balloons but I noticed that the twin who was here had a really lengthy message covering her balloon.

The dogs were totally exhausted after everyone left, came in, claimed their respective 'spots' on doggie beds or couch and crashed. They didn't move till we went back to the bedroom for the night.

I've been up since 2:30AM and I think I'll go back and see if I can get some more sleep. I did catch up on some of the posts... Packy, I saved you a bowl of crab salad but I had to hide it away. The person I made it for especially tore into it pretty good... then I put what little was left in a plastic container for her to take home. :happy0158:

Lots of memories getting triggered lately. Ali -- I remember both Bob and Johnnie Lee Wills. I never saw either of them but IIRC, Bob used to have a radio program broadcast from some hotel in OKC didn't he? The Kleanon(sp?) Ballroom? Good dance music, both of them.

Oh, and whistling... do you know I'd actually forgotten how Daddy used to whistle. He was really good too. When we'd have family get togethers and the music would start. Mama played an acoustic guitar (was there any other kind back then?), Daddy played the fiddle, I had a cousin who hammered on a piano a la Jerry Lee Lewis and sometimes my grandmother was there and had her guitar that she laid flat on her lap and played like a steel guitar. Lots of time as part of their performance Daddy would whistle part of the number. I'd totally forgotten that.

Well.... PatC is toddling off to try to grab another hour or so of sleep. I'll see you guys later and I'll tell you the Motorcycle and the Bullet Holes story.

Packy, I haven't looked in the 'fridge yet. Did you find that crab salad?

Looks like ebberbody else is sleeping in this morning or may they're all at church and will drop in later.

I'll just grab a cuppa cofffee and tell the motorcycle/bullet story so it'll be here for when everyone else comes by.

As some of you know, we live a little way outside a small town in Mississippi. Well several years ago KC was going to have to be out of town for a while on a job – this is before he was ever married or had children – and he brought his “Pride and Joy” (his motorcycle) to leave at our house while he was gone. He parked it in a prominent spot under my carport and gazed fondly at it as he left. Heaven forbid IT should sit out in the weather and subject it’s shiny new paint job to rain and wind. :kissyface4:

Well, while he was gone I just happened to see some decals. Some very realistic decals that looked EXACTLY like bullet holes. They were realisticly sized – approximately the size hole a .30-30 would leave. So of COURSE I bought them. When I got home I walked out to the road (our house sits back about 150-200 feet from the road), studied the angle the bike was sitting in the carport then walked back to the carport and carefully placed two of decals on the fuel tank of his bike in exact places where they could have hit if someone were shooting from the road and a couple more for good measure.

When KC got back in town he had a ride from the airport to the house and had let me know when to expect him. I saw the car turn in the drive then it stopped short of the house. I watched as KC slowly opened the passenger door and, never taking his eyes off the motorcycle, slowly walked toward it, shoulders slumped in anguish. It’s a measure of the quality of those decals that he had to get within three or four feet before he realized what they were. I knew when he did because his posture immediately straightened and he shouted, ”MOOOOOOM!” and came striding in the house. Naturally I tried to play the innocent but it didn’t work. I still don’t know how he was so sure it was me and not John or one of his friends or his brother. We all got a good laugh and he left the decals on the bike a long time, even adding one to his helmet.

It was a good six months or more later when I came out of the shop where I had just had my nails done (I maintained acrylic nails back then) to find my windshield shattered. In that same shopping center about a year before I had come out to find my right rear quarter panel crushed. I had a spiffy red Ford Mustang 5.0 convertible back then and I loved it. I can’t print here my thoughts as I walked toward my “baby”. . . Yep, you guessed it. . .when I got close enough to see it was a decal I started looking all around the parking lot and sure enough, there he was with that beautiful grin on his face. He didn’t say a word, just waved at me, put his helmet on and roared off on his motorcycle (still bearing the "bullet holes". I laughed all the way home.

The Shot Up Motorcycle... a couple of years later:

No, it's not the bike he was riding when he was killed. That was one he had recently finished re-building.

Good reading this morning, Pat! Both about your company yesterday and about the bullet hole's story. I would have had to be inches away before realizing they were decals. What great fun!

Pat, you sound exactly like my kinda person! We do enjoy remembering the "fun" things! Although, my red '90 5.0 is not a rag top, she is pretty! She's strawberry red, but I like driving my '65 2+2 fire engine red a whole lot better! Have a '97 maroonish red F250 and a strawberry red '99 Expedition. I bet you had no idea red is my favorite color! That's besides the point, I can "hear" your smile when you talk about KC! <hugs>

Grins, you had mentioned the radio show The Whistler. I got to see the Whister movies a couple of months back on TMC. I don't remember them before that.

My Daddy used to whistle and so does my son Jamie. Jamie is so much like my Dad.
I love to hear him whistle, I know he is having a good day. Or at least a better dan than his usual painful ones.

Evening everyone. Sandy is back to her usual self now but we are still going to be calling the vet tomorrow as it took her almost a full 2 days to get over how she was feeling and we can't keep having that happen.
