MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police are searching for a missing mother and her toddler last seen Friday afternoon.

According to Miami Police Department, Antonia Acuna and 2-year-old Donald Arauz have been missing since Friday afternoon. The mother and toddler were last seen in the area of 400 Southwest 14th Avenue in Little Havana.

Acunia was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans, and the boy wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts.

AMBER Alert issued for 2-year-old Miami boy

Florida state law enforcement just before midnight issued an AMBER Alert for a missing 2-year-old boy from Miami.

The alert said Donald Arauz — three feet tall, 32 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a white shirt and blue shorts — was believed with a woman, Antonia Acuna, 37, and a man driving a burgundy pickup.

The man was not identified.

Anyone with information should contact the Miami Police Department at 305-579-6630 or 911.

The alert from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said the boy was last seen near the 400 block of SW 14th Avenue in Miami. No time frame was given.

The alert was issued at 11:48 p.m. Saturday.

Amber Alert Issued For Missing Miami Toddler

An Amber Alert has been issued for a Miami toddler thought to be in the company of his mother.

Miami police say two year old Donald Arauz was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts in the 400 block of SW 14th Avenue. The child is about three feet tall with black hair and brown eyes. His mother Antonia Acuna, 36, is about five feet tall, weighs 130 pounds; has blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.

Acuna, who has custody of her son, lives with her aunt and grandmother, according to Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Alfonso. They were the ones who reported her missing.

Acuna and her son are thought to be traveling in a burgundy colored truck driven by a Hispanic male.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Acuna or her son is asked to call the Miami Police Department at (305) 579-6630 or 911.
