Amber Alert: Mother takes 1-year-old child

TEMPE - Ariz, - A one-year-old child has been abducted by her mother, Willniesha Dunston.

Kalaya Dunston was taken from Arizona Mills Mall around 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

The child is just over two feet tall, weighing 19 pounds with short curly black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple outfit and band-aids on both legs.

The mother is an African-American, 20 years old. She is 5-foot-5, 130 pounds.

Willniesha Dunston has four to five inch long brown hair and brown eyes. She is wearing an orange bra with a black tank top over it, faded denim cutoff shorts and flip flops.

They were last seen exiting the Arizona Mills Mall.

Tempe police believe she may harm the child.

An alert was just broadcast - the Amber Alert has been cancelled at the request of the Tempe PD. No details, but I assume that Kalaya is safe. :innocent0001:

14-month-old girl found safe, healthy

Tempe police have cancelled an Amber Alert involving a 14-month-old girl who was taken by her 19-year-old mother during a supervised visit at Arizona Mills on Friday.

The girl, Kalaya Dunston, who was in custody of Child Protective Services, was found in good health in central Phoenix. The mother, Willniesha Dunston, was taken into custody, police said.
