Thanks to employees of a hair salon noticing bruises and injuries to a 2 yr old child back on January, 8, a child was removed from her abusive home.
From the article: According to the husband's arrest affidavit, Christopher Cowan told police his wife had abused his 2-year-old daughter over three days, tying her wrists with shoestrings and hitting her with a belt for going "potty in her pants."
According to the document, witnesses from the salon contacted police Jan. 8 and said the family had come in for haircuts. Witnesses said they noticed the child's injuries and told the father he needed to take her to the hospital because "she looked sick." The husband said the child would be fine "as long as she was walking," the affidavit says.
People like these parents, shouldn't be able to breed. In this case, the step-mother was the primary abuser and the passive father just watched. Both parents are 23. I pray they never get this child back.
