RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) – Kyle Frazier went out to walk the family dogs Tuesday morning and hasn't been seen since.
Authorities suspended their search Thursday because of weather, and plan to begin searching again Saturday morning.
His wife, Becky, went with detectives after someone reported a possible sighting. It turned out not to be her husband, and she remains hopeful he will come home safe.
"It's just the worst thing that has ever happened in my life," said Becky.
Knowing her husband's routine, Becky believes Kyle took his four dogs for a walk in the woods shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Having grown up in the rugged 1,000 acres surrounding their home, Becky believes no one knows the woods any better.
The four beagles returned home without Kyle.
"They came back, but it wasn't normal," said Becky. "They were whimpering and running in circles and looking at me like 'what do we do?'"
Family members continue their search around the clock, while Becky sits by the phone, waiting for good news.
"Kyle is an avid outdoors man so if anyone can survive this, Kyle can do it."
