Thanks Batty, I was making this post!!
I don't think the public is worried about anything either. MJ was big and that makes for lots of talk.
We are here to discuss what's in the media. Our thoughts and options are just that, thoughts and opinions. We can't change anything in the Jackson saga.
My only concerns are the children.

Jackson Court Hearings Set for July 6
The hearing date for Billie Jean Jackson vs. Michael Jackson has been set for the morning of July 6 in L.A. -- the same day and in the same L.A. courthouse as a hearing scheduled by the Jackson family yesterday regarding the custody of MJ's children and estate.
In the papers, Billie Jean Jackson claims to be the mother of Michael Jackson's son, Prince Michael Jackson II aka Blanket. Billie Jean filed for joint legal and physical custody of Blanket in December 2008, and asked for $1 billion in child support and to participate in Blanket's education and weekend life.
It is unclear whether or not the same hearing date and court location for both cases is a coincidence.

Report: Paternity of Michael Jackson's Kids Revealed
According to a report, the biological father of Michael Jackson's two oldest children has been revealed.
Sources tell Us magazine that Dr. Arnie Klein allegedly is the father of Jackson's son Prince Michael and daughter Paris, whose mother is Debbie Rowe.
Klein is a Beverly Hills dermatologist and Rowe was a nurse at his practice in the 1990's.

Even though Michael has raised these children (IMO, he is their father no matter what) these people now want custody because of $$$$$$$$$$$$$. And if it is custody of these children are given to Debbie Rowe and whoever are that parents of Blanket, will the estate now fight to not pay support for these kids?
OMG........... PEOPLE THINK OF THESE CHILDREN AND WHAT THEY ARE LIVING WITH RIGHT NOW!

I watched all of it last night. I found a couple of inconsistencies. I read the other day that DR said she couldn't have any more children (and that is why her and MJ broke up?). But in this interview she said that if MJ would say he wanted five more kids that she would do it in a heartbeat. Also in that interview both DR and MJ say they had sex and that is how the children were conceived.
Now if the TMZ report is true they aren't even DR's biological children. She was just saying the other day she was so proud of how good looking her children turned out.
I didn't think the kids looked anything like her. She has such a strong jawline for one.

Now here's the rub. We've learned Jackson never filed legal papers to adopt any of his children. Legal experts tell us Jackson would be presumed the father but it's not conclusive by any means.
As for why Jackson didn't formally adopt -- we're told at the time the kids were born there was no third party whom he believed would try and claim custody. For some reason, Jackson never thought Debbie Rowe would mount a custody challenge.

Huh, this story I doubt, if you get a sperm donor thru a
sperm bank you don't adopt, even if a friend donated you don't adopt, you might sign an agreement. I am probably not saying it
right. These poor children, they are not little kids and will hear and
get what's going on...so sad.

Surely Michael had birth certificates for the children? And surely he is named as the father? I think this is horrible of the media, but that is just what they do. One of them says something and then the others just keep adding to it. And we all read it.

All jokes aside. I am glad they are with the Jackson family. I wish they would bring Grace back. The Jackson's are a big family, the kids will be fine, IMO. No matter what, they will never have a mother and if Grace is as close to them as we have read/heard, then I do hope the J's realize this and bring her back in to care for them and be with them. Debbie Rowe reaches out to Jackson family
Mother of late singer’s eldest children ‘absolutely devastated’ by his death
updated 2 hours, 58 minutes ago
In the wake of Michael Jackson's death, Debbie Rowe, the singer's ex-wife and mother of his two eldest kids, has left multiple messages for the Jackson family in hopes of getting in touch — though she's been unsuccessful — a friend tells PEOPLE.
"We've been trying to reach them at different numbers," says Marc Schaffel, a former Jackson business associate who's close with Rowe. "But we don't know if who we've been leaving messages with have gotten the messages."
Rowe is the legal parent of Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, and can get custody of them if she chooses. Jackson's third child, Blanket, 7, was born to an unnamed surrogate.
But the children's grandmother, Katherine Jackson, was granted temporary guardianship on Monday after filing a petition in Los Angeles Probate Court. In the 22-page document, Katherine claims the kids "have no relationship with their biological mother" and "have a long established relationship" with her since Michael's death.
"In all fairness I wouldn't say they are avoiding her," Schaffel says, adding that Rowe usually contacts the family through Jackson's business office. "Our understanding, though, is that the Jackson family does want to have contact with Debbie."
Schaffel says there were "several reasons" why Rowe reached out, including wanting "to offer her input into a venue where they could have a public memorial."
"Debbie was absolutely devastated by Michael's death," he says. "They had an incredible bond and friendship even prior to the marriage...Debbie was a very good friend to Michael during all those years."
While Schaffel won't comment on whether Rowe has had contact with the kids the past few days, "Debbie understands it's a very difficult time for everybody involved, including the children," he says. "I think everybody involved would say they want to see the children have no more disruption in their life until their father has been put to rest."

eta: Unless, MJ had an ongoing relationship with this woman. He says on that interview posted that Blanket's mother is black. I wonder if this Billie Jean is black?

Jesse Jackson Urges Suicidal Michael Jackson Fans to Live
Michael Jackson's death may be tragic, but it is not the end of the world. Even the Rev. Jesse Jackson thinks so.
Amid reports that distraught M.J. zealots have become suicidal in the aftermath of his sudden demise, the clergyman and friend of the entertainer is urging fans to "keep hope alive."
"This is a time when hearts are heavy. There is great pain but great cause to celebrate Michael's life," he says. "It made Michael happy saying 'We Are the World.' Don't self destruct. We fall down sometimes, we get back up. That's the right thing to do. In Michael's name let's live together as brothers and sisters and not die apart as fools."
According to the U.K.'s Sky News and Gary Taylor, president and owner of the fansite MJJCommunity, at least 12 ardent fans have committed or attempted suicide in the wake of the King of Pop's passing.
Pavel Talalayev, a Russian Jackson impersonator who spent years and thousands of dollars on cosmetic surgery to look like his idol, was among the first to attempt to take his own life.
"I started receiving calls from other fans, I tried to calm them down…And then I let myself go," he told Russian news site Life.ru, as translated by MosNews, after his rescue by doctors. "I don't know why the doctors saved me. I want to be with Michael."
The Barcelona Reporter is reporting an additional fan death in Tunisia.
Not to sound like an afterschool special or anything, but if you or someone you know is contemplating suicide for whatever reason—Michael Jackson mourning or otherwise—please consult a professional or call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

Woman sues Michael Jackson for $1 billion
She claims to be birth mother of Blanket; earlier suit was dismissed
updated 4:26 p.m. CT, Mon., Dec . 22, 2008
LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson sang, “Billie Jean is not my lover,” in his massive 1983 hit, but a woman who says she’s Billie Jean Jackson claims otherwise.
According to court documents obtained by Access Hollywood, Billie Jean Jackson, who is believed to be Lavon Powlis, claims she’s married to Michael and is seeking joint custody of his youngest child, 6-year-old Blanket, whose birth name is Prince Michael II. The woman claims she is Blanket’s birth mother.
Billie Jean is suing the singer for 1 billion dollars “in support of Blanket.”
This is not Michael’s first encounter with Billie Jean Jackson. According to the Associated Press, in 1987, she filed a $150 million paternity lawsuit against the singer.
She claimed Michael had fathered three of her children and would not pay child support. A rep for the pop singer at the time called the claims “ridiculous and preposterous.” The suit was dismissed (apparently, the kids were not his sons).
In March of 2008, the 60-year-old was arrested by Santa Barbara County sheriff’s deputies for trespassing on Michael’s Neverland Ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Prince II's Birth Certificate -- No Mother Listed
We've obtained the birth certificate for Michael Jackson's youngest son -- which only lists the kid as having one parent ... Michael Jackson.
On the doc, Prince Michael Jackson II's father is listed as MJ -- but the space where Prince's mother is supposed to be named was left blank.
As we reported earlier this morning, Michael is not the biological father of his three children. In Prince Michael's case, the surrogate never knew she was carrying Michael's baby -- who was conceived in vitro.
And this is interesting ... Katherine Jackson apparently doesn't know Prince Michael's date of birth. Yesterday, in the guardianship papers, she listed his DOB as 1/21/02. The birth certificate says he was born on 2/21/02, one month later.

This may not be nice to say but I'm relieved Joe and Katherine are separated. If he isn't going to be around the kids, I think that's good.
The only problem I can see is if Katherine is a beneficiary (along with MJ's kids) as the report says, I wonder if Joe can cause her headaches. If Joe is a NV resident, I wonder how that would figure if they got divorced. If he moves back to CA and then would divorce her, I believe he would be entitled to half her assets under CA law.

There is a will and Katherine's lawyers have now seen it.
I heard earlier that Katherine is more than likely named as executor & given custody of the Children in the will.

I linked an article earlier this morning, saying that the attorney was the executor along with another guy...can't remember their names now...
Oh me too...why the wait??? Just because he was a doctor is not good enough excuse...he should have whipped out his cell phone and called...he could have described how to get to the house, if he didn't know the addy...
I've thought more about the phone thing. To me it is troubling there was no working phones. Usually you just turn off the ringer if you don't want to be disturbed. If the phones weren't working, did MJ have access to any phones if he wanted to call anyone? (Rhetorical question)

I have so much to read & catch up on when I get up (or starting tomorrow back to pages & pages) I missed it....sorry
Well more than any drugs that may have been administered what gets me is not calling 911 immediately.
Per NG the doctor couldn't call 911 because he didn't have a phone and didn't know the house address.

I don't know about being executor. Right now the court appointed her as "special administrator" which is a temporary appointment until the will is filed in probate court and the executor(s) are established per the will--I believe.

According to papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Jackson's three children are the sole beneficiaries of his estate, which is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, even though the pop icon was reported to own some $400 million when he died Thursday at the age of 50.

Michael Jackson's Neverland Memorial in the Works
Michael Jackson will be making one final visit to his beloved Neverland.
The Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department has just confirmed to E! News that plans are under way to hold a memorial service at the famed estate/amusement park in the hills outside Santa Barbara.
"Our guys are meeting as we speak with the California Highway Patrol to discuss the security issues," says Lt. Butch Arnoldi, a department spokesman.
Sources close to the family say that there will be some kind of public memorial over the holiday weekend, perhaps with Jackson's body lying in state. The body is expected to be transported from Los Angeles on Thursday.
"Our role will primarily be traffic, but also crowd control," adds Arnoldi. "We will also be making sure there is no trespassing on neighboring ranches and stuff like that. We would be stationed on the perimeter of the house. The actual roadway will be the responsibility of the CHP."
Jackson's brothers Jackie, Jermaine and Tito visited the grounds over the weekend and earlier Tuesday a delivery truck was spotted dropping off boxes at Neverland.
Arnoldi says the sheriff's department usually only gets involved when there is a huge crowd of people expected. He did not have any specifics on a date or time for any service.
CNN reports that a public viewing will take place Friday and a private memorial service will be held on Sunday.
There is no indication that Michael Jackson will be buried at the ranch, however. Indeed, asked point-blank during a press conference yesterday, father Joe Jackson said his son would not be interred at the ranch.
Given the pop icon's global celebrity, his family is proceeding slowly to ensure proper security arrangements are in place for what will surely be a massive gathering of fans when Neverland opens its gates on Friday.
Joe Jackson said Monday he wants the memorial to be a fitting tribute to his son's legacy.
As for that mystery delivery this morning, the driver was mum, saying he had signed a nondisclosure agreement. He would only tell reporters he was dropping off items, not picking them up, in his Beverly Hills Allied Moving and Storage van.
But Jackson family attorney Londell McMillan told CNN the movers were at the 2,500-acre estate to protect Michael's possessions from looters.
The singer lost ownership of Neverland when he defaulted on a loan, but it was saved from foreclosure when Colony Capital, a private equity firm run by Michael's billionaire friend Tom Barrack, bought it in a joint venture with Jackson to help bail him out.
Colony Capital planned to spend millions to return the estate to its former glory.
Representatives of the neighboring community, however, have been outspoken against the idea of turning a sleepy, rural region of Santa Barbara County into a West Coast version of Elvis Presley's Graceland.
Do you realize that this man was Debbie Rowe's employer at one time?

Jackson parents face criticism since Michael's death
It seems there's a "right" way to grieve, and then there's the very public "Jackson" way.
Observers tracking the moves of Michael Jackson's immediate family were rankled after an eyebrow-raising appearance by family patriarch Joe Jackson at Sunday night's BET Awards, where the 79-year-old briefly appeared to be hawking products for a business.
To some, the move "reeked" of hucksterism, the sad words of a salesman suddenly deprived of his moonwalking commodity. To the less cynical, it was merely a natural gesture from a man used to conducting his affairs through the media.
"Joe, on the red carpet, was an embarrassment," said Ian Drew, a senior editor at Us magazine. "It could not have looked more self-serving. It's what you've always heard about the family - they'll sell out anything, whenever they can."
There have, in fact, been a few actions by members of the Jackson family that have seemed suspect to followers, with Joe's award show "pitch" just the most notable.
On Saturday, Michael's mom, Katherine, who Monday was granted temporary guardianship of Michael's three children, was photographed leaving a Target store with a cart full of sleeping bags and toys. A touching display of a grandmother's love? Or, as some wondered Monday, a shrewd PR move by a woman looking to present herself in the best possible light for the courts?
The posts on TMZ.com, underneath a picture of Katherine headed to the parking lot, were not kind: "Without the kids, there is no $$$." "I'm sure that this woman has people to go out shopping for her." And, "It is laughable to think that a woman who sold her children should have anything to do with [Michael's]."
Others have speculated about the quick appearance of the two white Atlas Van Lines moving trucks that appeared at the home, the day after Michael's death. They wonder why one of the first things the family did, "while their youngest son's body was still warm," was to send moving vans to his home.
In his CNN interview with reporter Don Lemon, Joe Jackson introduced a man who appeared to be a business partner, then began talking shop: "Marshall and I have - we own a record company. Talking about Blu-ray technology. That's the next step," he said.
The complaints flooded blogs, such as Jezebel, where one poster called the words of the acknowledged disciplinarian "ghastly": "A man seems pursued pretty much to the grave by the demons his father planted in him, and even in death the -- ghoul is still hustling."
Lost in the outrage, though, is the fact Jackson's comments came more than three minutes into his red carpet appearance, long after his initial words about his son's death: "I'm doing pretty good. . . . It has been really tough. Remember, we just lost the biggest star in the world." Alas, to some, even that lament came across strictly as cool detachment.
Michael Jackson, some say, has always represented to his parents a source of income and fame, a fact that contributed to his depression and untimely self-destruction.
"For them to be out shopping, or promoting themselves, is typical of Michael Jackson's family - but it's an outrage, because they should be home feeling guilty for having caused his demise," said Dr. Carole Lieberman, the Beverly Hills psychiatrist who filed the first complaint against Michael Jackson with child protective services after the 2002 "baby dangling" incident.
"How could a mother be out shopping for anything when her son just died? All the people who had a role in his demise are only thinking now about what the golden goose is worth to them dead. I'm not saying his parents didn't love him, but here Joe takes this opportunity to promote a business and say his son was 'the biggest star.' You can tell, all he's thinking about is how to turn Neverland into Graceland."

I am going to comment only on his mother and what she has been going thru since he son's death. We know that not many trust Joe Jackson. IMO, his mother had to make sure that his children were protected. She did not know if there was a will or not. She had to do a CYA actions since the day he died, all the while wondering how her son died. A mother does what she has to do. If she has to cook for the rest of the family, she does so while her heart breaks. She wasn't out selling a record company. She was doing what she had to do for her son. It is rumored that her house bills and such are/were being paid for by Michael and Janet. I would have done the same for my mother if I could have. But that is besides the point. Were either of the children forced to do this? Apparently the kids get along with their mother. Good for them and her. I pray that she can find the strength that she will need in dealing with the death, the funeral, memorial services and the battles that are bound to happen. Whther those battles are from inside the family or outside, may she stand strong.

That whole thing with Michael's nose falling off (or caving in) and then the picture of the disfigured ear (used to rebuild the nose) was tabloid fodder. Never reported by any reputable news sources because, imo, it was a side issue to who Michael Jackson is. I always thought Michael wore the face masks because he was afraid of germs! My daughter laughed at me and said he was hiding his botched up nose job  And just recently I have been reading old news stories and saw where, reportedly, Joe Jackson's "nickname" for a young Michael was "big nose"! Maybe Michael cutting off his nose "despite his face" was somehow aimed at his fatherr, just a thought :INhouseReading04:

I agree Anna. She probably could have sent some flunkie to do her shopping for her....but she is still a mom and grandma. A grieving mom and a grandma to grieving kids. It's not like she spent a ton of money. She went to Target.....just like we ALL do. She's trying to do the best thing. I feel for her. She is and was a decent woman trying to do her best under trying circumstances. She stuck with her marriage vows under the worst of conditions. That is what women did back then.

"Katherine Jackson asked in her filings Monday to serve as administrator of his affairs, the term for the person who acts as executor when no valid will exists. In the document, her attorneys appeared to take a swipe at Branca, who represented Jackson from 1980 to 2006 and reportedly rejoined the singer’s business team the week before his death.
“A possible competing interest is a purported claim of an attorney who long ago was dismissed from the decedent’s group of advisors and about whom the decedent stated that he never wanted the attorney to have anything further to do with his affairs,” the lawyers wrote. "

Jackson left huge catalog of new music for kids
Despite the high-dollar debts Michael Jackson accrued during his final years, the music legend made an effort to ensure his children’s financial future. A secret song library, reportedly stocked with up to 200 unreleased tracks, could mean a lasting legacy for Jackson’s brood.
According to the Daily Express, the “King of Pop” bequeathed the massive music catalog to Michael Joseph Jr. (aka Prince Michael), 12, Paris Michael Katherine, 11, and Prince Michael II (aka Blanket), 7, just weeks before his death.
“He has as many as 200 unpublished songs that he planned to leave his children when he died,” a source explained. “They can’t be touched by the creditors, but they could be worth as much as ($100 million) that will ensure his kids a comfortable existence no matter what happens.”
A report in the Times Online, which puts the unreleased song count closer to 100, revealed biographer Ian Halperin discovered Jackson’s plan while researching his forthcoming book, “Unmasked: The Michael Jackson Story.”
“He wants to leave them for his kids, a very personal legacy to them,” Halperin wrote before the singer’s death.

Hi, Emyo, I understand Michael's longstanding problems with his nose situation. Have realized for many years that his dad and brothers teased him about it. Sorry, but, his nose problems have been fodder for other news media other than tabloids. It has been in books, magazines and I'm not talking about trash.
Just because I said what I said about the nice photograph and Michael's nose, has nothing at all to do with my not knowing what caused him to have a problem with his nose and wanting to change it. His nose was disfigured and not repaired. I have great respect for MJ. I danced many an hour to his music. I watched him grow up and even though I was busy in graduate school finishing my master's degree, I still made time to tune in when he was on TV. I definitely think his problems with his nose are directly connected to his father, but, it changes nothing.

Wall-to-wall Jackson coverage starts to recede
With pace of new developments slowing, media turns to other stories
Media coverage of Michael Jackson’s death began receding following an extraordinary worldwide outpouring, with the shock wearing off and the pace of new developments slowing.
The Bernie Madoff sentencing, a presidential speech on energy, U.S. combat troops withdrawing from Iraqi cities and a cable news staple in Dallas — a high-speed car chase — took time away from the drumbeat of speculation Monday on the cause of Jackson’s death and the future of his children.
Still, producers at CBS News were hurriedly putting together another prime-time special for Tuesday night on Jackson. NBC News bought the rights to journalist Martin Bashir’s lengthy 2003 interview with Jackson for a Monday-night show, after MSNBC showed it several times over the weekend. And it continued to be the lead story on NBC’s “Today” show and ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Tuesday. (Msnbc.com is a joint venture between NBC and Microsoft.)
It was still a huge story internationally, where Jackson’s death kept many Australians home on a Saturday night.
“We had a lot of viewers over the last three or four days and that suggests to us there’s a tremendous amount of interest,” said Bart Feder, senior vice president of current programming at CNN. “Journalistically, it’s a fascinating story. He was one of the most famous people on the planet, and there are a lot of tentacles to the story.”
Fader said he expected interest to remain high at least until there’s a funeral for Jackson, which was still unscheduled.
CNN was one of the biggest beneficiaries of interest in the story, both right after it broke and throughout the weekend, when its audience remained at twice its normal level, he said. More than 2,200 viewers had also sent in their own video reports to the network, most offering personal recollections about the pop star.
More than 20 million people appeared to watch television in the United States specifically to find out about Jackson’s death in the hours after the story broke last Thursday, according to Nielsen Media Research.
NBC had 5.8 million viewers for its two-hour prime-time special on the deaths of Jackson and actress Farrah Fawcett, according to Nielsen Media Research. A CBS News special at 10 p.m. on Jackson had 7.5 million viewers and an ABC Jackson recap had 5.7 million viewers at 9 p.m. (ABC’s 10 p.m. hour on Fawcett, which had more advance notice, had 8.2 million viewers Thursday.)
The three biggest cable news networks — CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC — averaged 8.2 million viewers in prime-time Thursday. That compares with almost 4.7 million on a typical weeknight, Nielsen said. The vast majority of those new viewers turned to CNN, which had 3.9 million viewers compared with its 1.1 million average.

Officials discussing Jackson memorial at Neverland
LOS ANGELES – Santa Barbara County officials are in a meeting about Michael Jackson plans, and E! Online reports they are discussing a possible memorial service at his Neverland Ranch. Lt. Butch Arnoldi, a Sheriff's Department spokesman, told E!: "Our guys are meeting as we speak with the California Highway Patrol to discuss the security issues."
Santa Barbara County Fire spokesman Capt. David Sadecki confirmed to The Associated Press that fire officials, California Highway Patrol and county sheriffs officials were meeting Tuesday morning to discuss "the whole Michael Jackson thing."
"The Santa Barbara County Fire Department is willing to accommodate the Jackson family with whatever request they have regarding a funeral procession should they have one," Sadecki said.
Sadecki said he had not yet talked representatives in the ongoing meeting but expected an update later in the afternoon.
Neverland is located in the rolling hills of central California's wine country, about 150 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
Rick Quintero, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol, said the CHP had not received a request for a motorcade as of Tuesday morning. He said if the motorcade crosses through CHP jurisdiction, as it likely would from Los Angeles to Neverland, they would need to be notified.
"They would definitely need to notify us because it's going to impact the motoring public. At the point they decide it is going to happen we have to be involved because it's going to impact our jurisdiction," Quintero said.
In an open letter to the Santa Barbara community, Thomas J. Barrack Jr., who set up a joint venture with Jackson that took ownership of the 2,500-acre property, warned residents that the world will quickly descend on Santa Barbara and Neverland as fans grieve.
"We must also prepare to accommodate Michael's family's wishes as they contemplate the location of his final resting place and their own return to the tranquil grounds of the Michael Jackson family compound."
The California Highway Patrol has internal meetings under way to plan for a Jackson caravan that could bring Southern California's congested highways to a standstill. Sgt. Mark Garrett said the agency had not been notified of the family's plans, but was preparing nonetheless.
"It's just like when the president comes to town," Garrett said. "We want to ensure people are not putting themselves in danger."
At once a symbol of Jackson's success and excesses, Neverland became the site of a makeshift memorial after his death Thursday. Scores of fans have streamed past the gated entrance to leave handwritten notes, photographs, balloons and flowers.
He was 29 and at the height of his popularity when he bought the ranch, naming it after the mythical land of Peter Pan, where boys never grow up. There, he surrounded himself with animals, rides and children.
Jackson fled the ranch — and the country — after his acquittal on charges that he molested a 13-year-old cancer survivor in 2003 at the estate after getting him drunk.
Jackson moved luxury cars, artwork, jewelry, costumes and other property off the ranch last year for an auction that never occurred.

Report: Michael Jackson Made Movie Weeks Before Death
Two weeks prior to his death, pop legend Michael Jackson reportedly completed a 3D movie.
The venture -- dubbed The Dome Project -- was to play behind the King of Pop during his London concerts, the Associated Press reports.
The project used 3D cameras created by filmmaker James Cameron and Vince Pace.
"To think that Michael's gone now, that's probably the last documented footage of him to be shot in that manner," Pace told the news agency.
Sources confirmed to AP that the footage was over a five-week period and was filmed at Culver Studios in California. Four sets were made for the movie, including a cemetery similar to the one seen in Michael's "Thriller" music video, and a set that was draped in black and included a large portrait of the pop legend in his werewolf costume from "Thriller."

Jackson family lawyer says will to be presented
A lawyer for Michael Jackson's family said Tuesday a will by the late pop star has been presented. The word came just a day after the family said in court documents it believed the entertainer had died without a valid will. "My clients are now aware after filings that a will has been presented ," said L. Londell McMillan. "His various advisers are looking for additional documents."
No further details were disclosed, and a copy of the document was not immediately available.
The existence of a will, and the likely appointment of an executor, could complicate a petition by Jackson's mother Katherine to become the administrator of his lucrative but debt-encumbered estate.
In documents filed in Superior Court, Jackson's parents say they believe their 50-year-old son died "intestate," or without a valid will.
A will almost always names an executor, and if validated, it would negate the petition of Jackson's mother to administer the estate, said John Novogrod, an estate lawyer and partner at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP in New York.
"If there is a will and if the will is a valid will, the whole petition to be named administrator will just fall way," Novogrod said.
He said the will could possibly be challenged on the grounds that Jackson may have been incompetent, did not understand it when it was created, or that he was unduly influenced.
Early Monday — just four days after the death of the King of Pop — lawyers for Katherine and Joe Jackson won temporary custody of Michael Jackson's three children and moved to become administrators of his estate.
Judge Mitchell Beckloff granted 79-year-old Katherine Jackson temporary guardianship of the children, who range in age from 7 to 12.
He also gave her control over some of her son's personal property that is now in the hands of an unnamed third party. But the judge did not immediately rule on her requests to take charge of the children's and Jackson's estates.

What's the difference between an administrator & executor anyway?
There are three chief differences between an Administrator and an Executor. First, while the law requires a bond to be posted by both, only the Executor’s bond may be waived under the terms of the Will. Second, Administrators are likely to be supervised by the court while Executors are likely to serve without supervision. Finally, the powers an Executor may wield (like the sale of a parcel of real estate) are granted by the Will while the powers an Administrator may wield require court authorization.

If you have a will who names an executor, you don't need an administrator..An administrator is when there is no will, then the court chooses someone for the job...and that person has to answer to the court or get court approval, such as selling real estate etc...

LAPD Makes Undercover House Call to Jackson Doc
The Los Angeles Police Department is turning up the heat on their investigation into Michael Jackson's untimely death—by actually packing heat for what was supposed to be another meeting with Dr. Conrad Murray.
It's unclear, however, if cops ever actually made contact with the doctor, who, his lawyer insists, has been cleared as a suspect in Jackson's death.
Police activity continued outside Murray's L.A.-area condo for nearly an hour and a half this morning.
Around 10:30 a.m., armed police detectives arrived at Murray's building in an unmarked gold-colored sedan. The vehicle, driven by a man in a red shirt and aviator sunglasses, pulled into the underground parking garage, but left several minutes and circled the block.
Then, shortly after 11 a.m. a second unmarked police car, this time taking the form of a green-hued sedan, parked in the alley adjacent to the doctor's condo, pulling up alongside the first detective. Behind the wheel of the second car was an undercover officer wearing a handgun on his hip.
A few minutes later, a police cruiser turned up at the scene and the uniformed officer got out of the squad car to speak with the two detectives.
By noon, all three cars had vanished from the condo's grounds.
An LAPD spokesperson declined to comment on this morning's events, citing their "ongoing investigation" into Jackson's death. A lawyer for the doctor told E! News that Murray has been cooperative and is definitely "not hiding out."
"As far as we know, [the visit] had nothing to do with our client," said Miranda Sevcik, a spokesman for Murray's Houston-based lawyers.
Meanwhile, a source close to the police investigation confirmed today that detectives are focusing their efforts on Jackson's prescription drug intake, saying that yesterday's search of the star's Holmby Hills mansion came after officers obtained two search warrants.
Which was apparently nothing more than a formality.
Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said that the Jackson family was more than cooperative in allowing him and the LAPD into the residence.
"The family assisted us in going into the home," he told E! News. "I'm not going to comment on whether or not there was a search warrant."
While investigators have yet to specify what exactly they found in the home, and have so far declined to either confirm or deny reports that needles were among the evidence they collected, they apparently did find a few things of interest, leaving the residence with two large plastic bags.
"They were seeking medications, controlled substances and paraphernalia," the source said.

Former Nanny on Michael Jackson's Death
Grace Rwaramba, the former nanny of Michael Jackson's three children, is speaking out to ET about her experiences with the King of Pop.
Rwaramba says in a new statement, "Michael Jackson was an exceptional Human Being. He was gifted, deeply compassionate and brought joy to the lives of so many. He loved his family dearly, and above all, his beautiful children.
"In addition to being my employer over the past 17 years and entrusting the care of his beloved children to me, he was my dear friend. While our friendship had challenges, as do all friendships, he was loyal to the end. I cherish and honor his memory.
"I am shocked, hurt and deeply saddened by recent statements the press has attributed to me, in particular, the outrageous and patently false claim that I 'routinely pumped his stomach after he had ingested a dangerous combination of drugs.' I don't even know how to pump a stomach!! In addition, I have never spoken to the Times Online, the original source of the story that has now been picked up worldwide. The statements attributed to me confirm the worst in human tendencies to sensationalize tragedy and smear reputations for profit.
"I convey my heartfelt and deepest condolences to Prince, Paris, Blanket and the entire Jackson family. The pain and sorrow I feel over the loss of Michael pales in comparison to what has been taken from them forever."

Oh, phooey! I'd like to see it, but, can't stand Couric's voice or to look at her flip her hair. I did enjoy the American Idol rerun last night featuring the night MJ's music was spotlioghted.
I loved her on the Today show, but I usually miss her on the nightly
news. But there will be plenty of MJ specials to come I am
pretty certain of that! lol

I've often thought about this one also
Later Jackson held a press conference—with Rev. Al Sharpton at his side—to offer some clarification on his red carpet demeanor. The press conference stank like cheap cigars and old malt liquor. It seems that he just wanted people to know that he and the family name will go on. But who needs spin at a time like this? I can’t think of anyone less qualified than Sharpton to be a Jackson family representative. Maybe bin Laden? Mike Tyson?

AP Exclusive: Insomniac Jackson begged for drug
Michael Jackson was so distraught over persistent insomnia in recent months that he pleaded for a powerful sedative despite warnings it could be harmful, says a nutritionist who was working with the singer as he prepared his comeback bid.
Cherilyn Lee, a registered nurse whose specialty includes nutritional counseling, said Tuesday that she repeatedly rejected his demands for the drug, Diprivan, which is given intravenously.
But a frantic phone call she received from Jackson four days before his death made her fear that he somehow obtained Diprivan or another drug to induce sleep, Lee said.
While in Florida on June 21, Lee was contacted by a member of Jackson's staff.
"He called and was very frantic and said, `Michael needs to see you right away.' I said, 'What's wrong?' And I could hear Michael in the background ..., 'One side of my body is hot, it's hot, and one side of my body is cold. It's very cold,'" Lee said.
"I said, `Tell him he needs to go the hospital. I don't know what's going on, but he needs to go to the hospital ... right away."
"At that point, I knew that somebody had given him something that hit the central nervous system," she said, adding, "He was in trouble Sunday and he was crying out."
Jackson did not go to the hospital. He died June 25 after suffering cardiac arrest, his family said. Autopsies have been conducted, but an official cause of death is not expected for several weeks.
"I don't know what happened there. The only thing I can say is he was adamant about this drug," Lee said.
Following Jackson's death, allegations emerged that the 50-year-old King of Pop had been consuming painkillers, sedatives and antidepressants. But Lee said she encountered a man tortured by sleep deprivation and one who expressed opposition to recreational drug use.
"He wasn't looking to get high or feel good and sedated from drugs," she said. "This was a person who was not on drugs. This was a person who was seeking help, desperately, to get some sleep, to get some rest."
Jackson was rehearsing hard for what would have been his big comeback — his "This Is It" tour, a series of performances that would have strained his aging dancer's body. Also, pain had been a part of his life since 1984, when his scalp was severely burned during a Pepsi commercial shoot.
Several months ago, Jackson had begun badgering Lee about Diprivan, also known as Propofol, Lee said. It is an intravenous anesthetic drug widely used in operating rooms to induce unconsciousness. It is generally given through an IV needle in the hand.
Patients given Propofol take less time to regain consciousness than those administered certain other drugs, and they report waking up more clear-headed and refreshed, said University of Chicago psychopharmacologist James Zacny.
It has also been implicated in drug abuse, with people using it to "chill out" or to commit suicide, Zacny said. Accidental deaths linked to abuse have been reported. The powerful drug has a very narrow therapeutic window, meaning it doesn't take doses much larger than the medically recommended amount to stop a person's breathing.
An overdose that stops breathing can result in a buildup of carbon dioxide, causing the heart to beat erratically and leading to cardiac arrest, said Dr. John Dombrowski, a member of the board of directors of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Because it is given intravenously and is not the kind of prescription drug typically available from pharmacists, abuse cases have involved anesthesiologists, nurses and other hospital staffers with easy access to the drug, Zacny said.
In recent months, Lee said, Jackson waved away her warnings about it.
"I had an IV and when it hit my vein, I was sleeping. That's what I want," Lee said Jackson told her.
"I said, 'Michael, the only problem with you taking this medication' — and I had a chill in my body and tears in my eyes three months ago — 'the only problem is you're going to take it and you're not going to wake up," she recalled.
According to Lee, Jackson said it had been given to him before but he didn't want to discuss the circumstances or identify the doctor involved.
The singer also drew his own distinctions when it came to drugs versus prescription medicine.
"He said, `I don't like drugs. I don't want any drugs. My doctor told me this is a safe medicine,'" Lee said. The next day, she said she brought a copy of the Physician's Desk Reference to show him the section on Diprivan.
"He said, 'No, my doctor said it's safe. It works quick and it's safe as long as somebody's here to monitor me and wake me up. It's going be OK,'" Lee said. She said he did not give the doctor's name.
Lee said at one point, she spent the night with Jackson to monitor him while he slept. She said she gave him herbal remedies and stayed in a corner chair in his vast bedroom.
After he settled in bed, Lee told Jackson to turn down the lights and music — he had classical music playing in the house. "He also had a computer on the bed because he loved Walt Disney," she said. "He was watching Donald Duck and it was ongoing. I said, `Maybe if we put on softer music,' and he said, `No, this is how I go to sleep.'"
Three and a half hours later, Jackson jumped up and looked at Lee, eyes wide open, according to Lee. "This is what happens to me," she quoted him as saying. "All I want is to be able to sleep. I want to be able to sleep eight hours. I know I'll feel better the next day."
Lee, 56, is licensed as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner in California, according to the state Board of Registered Nursing's Web site. She attended Los Angeles Southwest College and the Charles Drew University of Medicine and Sciences in Los Angeles.
Comedian Dick Gregory, who knows Lee and her work, said he believes Jackson's insomnia had its roots in the pop star's 2005 trial on child molestation charges. Jackson's health had deteriorated so much that his parents called Gregory, a natural foods proponent, for help.
Gregory said Jackson wasn't eating or drinking at the time and, after he was persuaded by Gregory to undergo testing, ended up hospitalized for severe dehydration.
But Jackson obviously was healthy enough to withstand the level of medical scrutiny needed to insure him for the upcoming high-stakes London concerts, Gregory said. "That you don't trick," he said of the exams.
Lee, who has also worked with Stevie Wonder, Marla Gibbs, Reynaldo Rey and other celebrities, said she was introduced to Jackson by the mother of one of his staff members. Jackson's three children had minor cold symptoms and their pediatrician was out of town.
Lee said she went to the house in January, the first of about 10 visits there through April, and treated the children with vitamins. Michael, intrigued, asked what else she did and took her up on her claim she could boost his energy.
After running blood tests, she devised protein shakes for him and gave him an intravenous vitamin and mineral mixture — known as a "Myers cocktail," after Dr. John Myers — which Lee said she uses routinely in her practice.
"It wasn't that he felt sick," she said. "He just wanted more energy."
Lee said she decided to speak out to protect Jackson's reputation from what she considers unfounded allegations of drug abuse or shortcomings as a parent.
"I think it's so wrong for people to say these things about him," she said. "He was a wonderful, loving father who wanted the best for his children."

Michael's Will -- Katherine Should Get Custody
There are reports that Michael Jackson's will says the singer wanted his mom, Katherine, to get custody and wanted assets to be placed in trust.
The will, according to the AP, lists Jackson's lawyer, John Branca, and John McClain, a music exec, as executors.
The will has not been filed with the court.
As for custody -- the will does matter, but ultimately the decision on who gets custody is in the hands of the judge.

Well it's kinda a contradiction that one of the paramedics
say Michael was cold to the touch when LE has said IIRC

If the EMT is correct then wouldn't it raise a big question
