Two-Year Old Alayah Watley Missing on St. Croix

Two-year old Alayah Watley is missing, prompting the V.I Police Department to issue an Amber Alert Monday afternoon. Watley, the daughter of Shawna Brady and Rolando Watley, is about one and a half feet tall and weighs about 60 pounds. She lives with her mother in Estate Concordia, St. Croix. The child was in the temporary custody of her father who is presently off island. Watley was last seen Saturday, July 18 at no. 83 Catherine’s Rest. She has an ongoing medical condition and needs medical treatment.


If you are with Watley or may know her whereabouts please contact Detective M. Myers at 712-6046 immediately. Anyone withholding information on the whereabouts of this missing child and does not contact police immediately will face criminal charges.

WTJX US Virgin Islands Public Television System at 12:54am July 21
The Amber Alert on two-year-old Alayah Watley has been rescinded. Police were contacted by another relative of the child around 9 p.m. Monday who said the child was in their possession. Police interviewed the relative and returned Alayah Watley to her mother. Police will seek a prosecutorial opinion from the Attorney General which will determine whether charges will be filed in this case.
