Memphis, TN - A City Watch Alert was issued Wednesday morning for a 74 year-old Alzheimer's patient from Memphis who was reported missing yesterday, Tuesday, July 21, 2009.
Will Gray walked off from the "Care Home" at 1165 Rayner. Mr. Gray has a history of walking off from his home and is an avid walker. Police say Mr. Gray can cover "great distances" because of his walking.
Will Gray is African-American, 5'6", 130 pounds with medium complexion and grey hair.
Gray is the third Alzheimer's patient to be reported missing in just a week's time in Memphis.
The first patient was found in the bushes near his home. The second person, Ethel Seabrook was found after she was involved in an accident. Seabrook was reported missing Tuesday afternoon. The 84 year-old was also an Alzheimer's patient and she'd gone missing at least twice before. It was later discovered that Seabrook had been in a car crash in Millington. Police don't know her condition at this time.
If you have any information on Will Gray, call the Memphis Police Department or Missing Persons at 636-3559. He does not have his eye glasses with him and does not carry identification.
