A killing spree across Central Florida over the last 72 hours has claimed the lives of eight victims, including a 13-year-old boy shot in the face Monday.
The latest victim is a homeless man killed in Ocoee this morning. Preliminary police reports show two men, ages 18 and 19, stabbed the man near State Road 50 and Bluford Avenue.
Ocoee police have not released details of that incident, but a detective at the agency said investigators are finalizing plans to serve a search or arrest warrant on one of the suspects.
The homeless man is the third victim in the area today. With the exception of that victim, most of the homicides remain unsolved.
Titusville police found Andrea Richardson and Krystal Pinson shot to death inside a home in the 800 block of WC Stafford Street at 2 a.m. Police have not made an arrest in that case or identified a suspect.
On Tuesday, police in Daytona Beach released a composite of a female suspect involved in the fatal shooting of the 13-year-old boy. Investigators hope it will lead them to the shooter.
Records show a man gunned down Lloyd Robinson Jr. at his family's home on Graham Street on Monday. The bullet struck the boy in the face, killing him. A second bullet grazed his father's arm. (see next post)
Police in Daytona Beach questioned the father, Lloyd Robinson, several times because he kept changing his story. The father gave police a false name for the suspect and other misleading information. Prison records show the father has spent several years behind bars on string of charges, including aggravated battery and lewd and lascivious assault on a child.
Lloyd Jr. was visiting his father from Georgia when he was shot, reports show.
Rockledge police also are investigating the shooting death of Kenneth Moore. Police are accusing Alvin Adderley of shooting Moore in his Rockledge home on Centennial Way on Tuesday. An arrest warrant was issued for Adderley, but he has not been caught.
Meanwhile, deputies in Orange County have released few details on the woman's body found by a jogger Tuesday in north Apopka. Officials said the woman's naked body was found in a patch of woods in a rural neighborhood on Ondich Road at 7:20 a.m.
A spokesman for the sheriff's office said investigators consider the death a homicide.
Police in New Smyrna Beach also are trying to solve the murder of Jeremy R. Markley, 25, found dead in a car on Monday. He was found in a parking lot in the 1400 block of S. Palmetto Street at 11:25 p.m.
Sanford investigators found the body of an unidentified man on 10th Street and Olive Avenue. They said the man was shot to death. There are no details in that shooting.
