Renton police searching for missing man with dementia

Renton police are searching for a 57-year-old man who went missing Tuesday after his wife dropped him off to catch a bus.
James R. Bertalotto, who suffers from dementia, lives at the Benson Heights retirement facility in Kent. He was last seen by his wife at 7 p.m. outside the Sherri's restaurant at 1820 Maple Valley Highway in Renton after she dropped him off so he could catch a bus back to Benson Heights.
According to police, Bertalotto suffers from dementia and other physical ailments that require medication. Without his medications, he becomes confused and depressed, police said in a news release.
Bertalotto has gone missing in the past, police said.
He is described as a white man, six feet tall and approximately 280 pounds. He was last seen wearing gray sweat pants and a mint green T-shirt.
Anyone with any information on Bertalotto's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Renton Police directly at 425-430-7500.
