MILWAUKEE — A Wisconsin woman has been charged with homicide after allegedly placing her newborn twins in a bathtub and watching them struggle in the water.

The 38-year-old woman was apparently upset over the shooting death of another son in Texas and wanted to kill herself. She said she was also having trouble breast-feeding.

The woman told police she wanted a permanent solution to her problems and for the children "to go to heaven."

Where are her protective instincts? You've just heard that you've lost one child so you stand and watch as your two babies struggle in a tub of water??? I'm super protective of my kitties, especially when they were newborns...I just can't understand this.

This makes me so mad. We've heard about more children in the first month of the new year who have been killed at the hands of the person who is supposed to protect them. I just makes my heart ache.

There are people who are trying to conceive every day and can't. Why don't they bring them to someone who can place them with loving parents? I just will never understand how a parent can hurt their children. It just sickens my stomach...

There is no excuse on the face of the earth for this kind of behavior.
It is just heart breaking. I hope they lock this woman up and throw away the key. At least the surviving twin will have a better chance with her out of the way!
