Twelve-year-old Nikki Bell was reported as a runaway by her father on Wednesday and is believed to be in the company of 20-year-old Jeremiah Zimmer.

Nikki is described as a white female, approximately 5' 4" tall, weighing 110 pounds. Her hair has been dyed a dark brown color and she has blue eyes.

Jeremiah is a white male, 6 '1" tall, weighing 160 pounds. He has dark hair and brown eyes.

Newton Police report a pickup was stolen Thursday. Although it is unknown if Nikki and Jeremiah are connected with the theft, they are not ruling out the possibility.

The pickup is a 2000 Dodge Dakota extended cab with Kansas license plate 981 ACM. It has an after-market sunroof and a black plastic bedliner. The passenger side rear wheel is rusting.

Anyone with information in this case should contact the Newton Police Department of Harvey County Crimestoppers.

Police in Newton are looking for a 12-year-old girl who they believe may be with a 20-year-old man.

Nikki Bell was reported missing on Wednesday. Police say she may be with Jeramiah Zimmer.

Bell is a white female, 5'4", 110 lbs with dyed, dark brown hair and blue eyes.

Zimmer is a white male, 6'1", 160 lbs with dark hair and brown eyes.

Newton police also say a pickup was stolen in town on Thursday. At this point, they don't know if Bell and Zimmer are connected with the theft, but they aren't ruling out the possibility that the two took the vehicle. The vehicle is a 200 Dodge Dakota extended cab with KS license plate 981 ACM. The pickup also has an after-market sunroof and a black bed liner. The passenger side rear wheel-well is rusting.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bell, Zimmer, or the missing truck is asked to call Newton Police or Harvey County Crime Stoppers.

Missing teen located in Wichita

NEWTON —

Nikki Bell, a 14-year-old from Newton who was reported missing on Wednesday, was picked up Friday by Wichita police, along with her 20-year-old boyfriend, Jeramiah L. Zimmer, also of Newton, Newton Police Chief Jim Daily said.

The girl’s father had reported her missing. Police had believed Bell was traveling with Zimmer, and prior reports indicated the two possibly were still in the area.

Police were probing a possible connection between the couple and a 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup reported stolen Tuesay in Newton.
