Supposedly had to do with the time performing his song would take. However, there was no problem on the Rachel Ray Show. :0009:

Well I'm a big Beatles fan, and as far as I'm concerned if there is a question of who did what I'm gonna side with a surviving member of the greatest musical group of all time. If Ringo needed more then 2:30 minutes he shoudl get it. He was a Beatle for crying out loud. Show some respect Regis and Kelly, for someone who did more for entertainment then you two could ever dream about doing.

I agree, they shouldn't have asked him to cut his song too much.. and he IS a Beatle, today and forever more. :yes2:
I, for one, would certainly rather listen to Ringo's music than the tittering of Kelly.

Gosh isn't that the truth.
I've tried watching their show and it just makes me nervous. Kelly and her dumb blond act and Regis bragging about where he and Joy ate the night before. Who the heck cares Reg?
I don't blame Ringo for walking off. The two hosts could have cut their stupid back and forth banter and let him do the song the way he wanted.

I don't watch Regis and Kelly and could have let Ringo have the time he needed to perform. I too can't stand that voice, I even turn off the Commerce Bank commercial.
I also don't like Ringo's attitude. I saw him on one of the news shows and as he was being led into the building, he had loads of fans waiting for him. Those who were close enough asked for an autograph, he just pushed their hands away and continued to walk to the building after giving a sarcastic look.
I think he should acknowledge his fans, they were waiting for hours for him to show. I don't think that was nice, it was rude. This should not be the attitude of an EX-BEATLE!
JMHO! :faintTHUD:

I like the Beatles. But, I am not a huge fan by any means. Having said that, I don't know why they could not have just given him the amount of time he needed for the song.
On a side note I lost all respect for Paul when I saw how he treated Ozzy. Say what you will about Ozzy, but one thing that has never been argued is that he is truly a sweet man. Paul had just finished a segment of the Howard Stern Show, and he walked out, waiting in the lobby is Ozzy(who was also scheduled for the show that day). Ozzy is beyond excited to meet Paul, he is kind and shows so much respect for this man he idolizes. Paul on the other hand looked like he didn't want to be in the same building with Ozzy. It was really hard to watch. My hubby who is a Beatles Nut Job, was just so disgusted with Paul's behavior and demeanor. Even after the way Paul treated Ozzy, Ozzy had not one bad thing to say about him. Ozzy has had a lot of drug problems and personal problems, but that should have nothing to do with how he is treated.

Hard to imagine the show is run on such a tight schedule. Omit one of Kelli's stories and there is plenty of time for Ringo's performance.
