GIBSON COUNTY, TN (WMC-TV) - A West Tennessee Regional AMBER Alert has been issued for the Gibson County Sheriff's Office for 5 year-old Katelyn Ranee Cole.

Katelyn is a white female, approximately three feet tall and 42 pounds with light brown hair and brown eyes. Katelyn was last seen on August 4, 2009 at approximately 7:30 in the evening at her residence at 65 Hulon Grooms rd in Trenton, Tennessee.

Katelyn was last seen wearing pink panties.

She was reported missing by her grandma. They were outside in the yard, grandma stepped inside to do something and when she came back outside Katelyn was gone.

Search groups have been out all night. Local law enforcement as well as neighboring LE and the TBI.

They don't know if she has been abducted or if she has wandered off.

Search dogs are being used.

They are scouring a five mile area around the home. They can't get the helicopters up because of the weather. As soon as the weather clears, they will be putting them up.
