A suggestion by Drew Peterson and his lawyer that the ex-Bolingbrook cop look for dates on a popular Chicago radio program irritated relatives of Peterson's missing wife and some listeners.

But an e-mail response by Peterson's lawyer, Joel Brodsky, really ticked off one already angry listener.

"This is not a joke, idiots. Someone is still missing," Deborah Valure wrote in a blistering e-mail to Brodsky -- whom she also called a "pig" -- after she heard the Chicago attorney and Peterson bantering on-air Wednesday morning with DJ Steve Dahl.

Brodsky had suggested Dahl host a dating contest for Drew Peterson. Station officials, however, quickly nixed the idea.

Brodsky's response to Valure only infuriated her. "What's the matter, Deborah, not getting any?" Brodsky replied in a Thursday e-mail.

I watched the interview. Drew Peterson, IMO, is a disgusting pig. He talked about being mad at Stacy for causing him all this trouble, how his kids don't need therapy because they're adjusting very well, and threw in a little tidbit about how women are always pressing their phone numbers in his hand when he's out somewhere. :mad:

The two youngest children have been told their mom is on vacation, Peterson said.

"It's a little harder on the little girl," he said. "You know once in a while she'll ask, you know, 'I want my mommy or where's mommy.' And that's hard."

On the day she vanished, Stacy Peterson sounded depressed and lethargic during a phone call, a family friend on Thursday told the grand jury investigating her disappearance.

Bruce Zidarich spoke briefly on the telephone with Peterson about 10:15 a.m. on Oct. 28 -- the day the 23-year-old Bolingbrook mom went missing from the home she shared with her husband, two sons and two stepsons.

"She said she had been laying in bed for a couple of hours. She was depressed," Zidarich told reporters after testifying for about 20 minutes before the Will County grand jury probing Peterson's disappearance.

Zidarich, Peterson and Peterson's sister, Cassandra Cales, were supposed to meet later that day to paint a relative's home in Yorkville. Peterson never arrived

I watched the attorney being interviewed by Starr Jones yesterday. He said that Stacey had run off with another man and Drew was just trying to move on and deserved to find someone else. Starr Jones responded that an investigation is still ongoing and Drew should be laying low and thats what his attorney should be telling him.

I don't really care for Starr Jones, but she really hit this attorney hard with questions and voiced her disgust about how he and Drew are handling this whole thing.

I believe the attorney is just wanting the fame and publicity and is going throught the motions (and some very bad ones) with DP. DP will eventually trip himself up and will be brought to justice. It may take awhile, but I believe it will happen. I just wish they could find Stacey's body. IMO
