Autistic man missing on the South Side

Chicago police issued a community alert after a 20-year-old autistic man was reported missing Thursday evening after he failed to return home from a nearby McDonald's restaurant.
Wayne Greene was last seen at about 8 p.m. on a No. 15 CTA bus at 67th Street and Stony Island Avenue. Officials said Greene, whose home address was unavailable, has the mental capacity of a first grader, police said.
He was last seen wearing an all black Rocawear baseball cap with black "RW" initials on the front of the cap. He also was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans with orange patches on the knees and black and green gym shoes.
He was last seen with a younger brother leaving a McDonald's restaurant at 66th Street and Stony Island Avenue where his sister works. He was apparently returning to his home, police said.
Police said Greene is not on medication and did not have any money or identification on him at the time. Police said he is not familiar with bus routes.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Chicago Police Department at 911 or (312) 747-8385.
