Oh, for crying out loud. They had women's and men's naked backsides on there for years and nobody complained.

Before them, Hill Street Blues had Bruce Weitz in a full naked shot (covered in appropriate places... you could only see it from the back and side). Why didn't they fine them after they went off the air?

What gets me is that Kotex and women's under garments (with the women)are shown on tv, but yet condoms are not advertised. Alcohol is advertised and they make a big deal about a blurry butt! Give me a break! :rolleye0001:

Five years after the fact, they complain about a butt? C'mon. The filthy language and subject matter being aired on primetime non-cable channels TODAY in my opinion does far more to lower the standard of decency than showing a normal part of human anatomy. Give me a break!

The day time soaps, in my opinion, light porn. Evening series or comedy shows are sexually suggestive in action and speech. Many are so violent, the blood and guts is over-flowing. Then we wonder why teens are having sex as young as 12 since shows glorify relationships that hop from one bed to another without knowing the person longer then the first date, some of the dances are so explicit and suggestive of sex and the kids see it as ok behavior, having babies with different daddies is cool and you don't have to care about being married anymore and be a family which would give all parties rights that they don't have just friends with benefits, its permissable to behave like the stars in the shows and its ok to go out and kill someone. Many kids cannot differentiate between reality and make believe. Then we wonder why there is little morality, irresponsibility in behaviors and babies born that will continue the trend of poverty and no education. IMO
