MY NAME IS JENNIFER RAYLEEN CASPER-ROSS AND I HAVE BEEN MISSING SINCE 5-05-05 FROM RENO, NV. I was married to Sean Ross. He divorced about one year after I went misssing. We have a son, he was 3 years old when I went missing. Having my son was the proudest moment in my life. I was going to school to be a veterinarian, I love animals. I also tudored physics and calculus. I loved to dance. When I was a little girl I saw the Ice Castles and I was hooked. I did gymnastics and ballet growing up. I couldn't tell you how many times I broke my toes. I also taught ballet to little kids. I was a dancer at Harrah's until I broke my tailbone. My uncle Ronnie is doing this for me. Missing one-time Nevada showgirl target of search

RENO, Nev.—More than three years after she vanished without a trace in Reno, a one-time Nevada showgirl is still the target of a search by her family.

Jennifer Casper-Ross was a 30-year-old mother attending the University of Nevada, Reno when she was last seen barefoot, hopping a downtown fence on May 5, 2005.

Her mother, Carla Brown of Salt Lake City, said she will be in Reno the next few weeks to distribute fliers with information about the case in an effort to develop leads.

"My family needs answers, closure," Brown told the Reno Gazette-Journal. "I don't believe she would run away this long. She had too much going for her.

"I just want to find her. Someone has to know something. She didn't just vanish off the side of the road," she said.

Casper-Ross danced as a showgirl at Las Vegas and Reno casinos until she broke a tailbone during a show, her mother said.

She was torn between becoming a veterinarian or a scientist when she disappeared one year shy of graduation at the university.

But Casper-Ross also was plagued by mental illness, drug abuse and marital troubles, the Gazette-Journal reported, and had previously attempted suicide.

Before her disappearance, she had been fired from her job as an exotic dancer. She stripped to earn money to pay for a home she bought with her husband, Sean, and to care for her toddler son, her mother said.

Police said her husband has always cooperated in the investigation.

He was granted a divorce several months after his wife vanished, and has custody of their son.

Brown said she does not think her daughter committed suicide because no body has ever been found, but believes she is a victim of foul play.

Reno police detective Dave Fogarty said Casper-Ross is classified as a missing person and her DNA is in a national database.

"We've never come up with anything solid to lead us in any one direction," Fogarty said. "We are always following up on leads. We want answers just as much as her family."

After four years, Reno showgirl's disappearance remains a 'nagging mystery'

Things haven’t changed much the last four years for the family of Jennifer Rayleen Casper-Ross, a former showgirl who mysteriously disappeared in Reno on May 5, 2005.
They remain heartbroken, confused and go back and forth between holding out hope, and thinking the worst.
“We need closure and we need some peace,” said her mother, Carla Brown, of Utah. “I don’t want to bury my daughter if she’s still alive. It’s like I’m looking for my daughter and also looking for her grave site.”
Brown said if her daughter remains alive and is possibly suffering from amnesia, national attention about her disappearance is her only chance to get her back.
“Maybe someone who sees her somewhere will recognize her and call us,” she said.
Last May Brown traveled to Reno handing out fliers detailing information about the last time Casper-Ross was seen in downtown Reno hoping to find some answers.
So far, there have been no clues.
Earlier this year, Brown submitted samples of her own DNA so that it can be entered into a national database to compare it against unidentified bodies. Her daughter’s DNA and dental records have also been entered into those databases.
Reno police detective Dave Fogarty said Casper-Ross’s disappearance remains a nagging mystery. There has not been one trace of her since she was seen downtown in the 400 block of Gentry Way fleeing barefoot from a taxi cab carrying a bag of clothes, he said. Fogarty said he is trying to renew the effort to find Casper-Ross, who was a 30-year-old mother to a toddler boy when she disappeared.
“There’s been no body found, no records of her or even run-ins with the law,” Fogarty said. “If you have information, please contact me.”
Casper-Ross was a former ballerina who later danced professionally as a showgirl in casino performances in Reno and Las Vegas. When she disappeared, she had been attending the University of Nevada, Reno on a NASA scholarship, and was a tutor.
But her life also had a dark side, her family said.
She had an estranged relationship with her husband, Sean, who was granted a divorce several months after she disappeared. He has custody of their son. Police say he has cooperated in their investigation. Ross did not return a phone call seeking comment.
Due to a tailbone injury, Casper-Ross had to quit professional dancing and worked as an exotic dancer to pay her bills. Her family said she had issues with drugs, alcohol, mental illness and suicide. Before she was seen fleeing from the taxi, she had called her father telling him she was going to visit him in Las Vegas.
Casper-Ross is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair with blond highlights and brown eyes. She has two piercings in each ear, one in her naval and a tattoo of the initials “J.G.” on her right foot.
“It’s just a mystery,” Brown said. “People just don’t disappear off the side of the road.”

I worked as a Reno Sparks driver for awhile, Carla was an angel in a company over run by cutthroats and swindlers. ( & thats just the management) I was ripped off for my "sirf" payment of two hundred dollars, but thats the price you pay for dealing with gutter level addicts like 95% of the R&S fleet and management are.
I hope they find out what lowlife creepy driver did her in. I wouldn't be surprised if his name was Robert S****k
