Autopsy shocker: Michael Jackson was healthy
34 days ago

By THOMAS WATKINS Associated Press Writer

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Michael Jackson's arms were covered with punctures, his face and neck were scarred and he had tattooed eyebrows and lips, but he wasn't the sickly skeleton of a man portrayed by tabloids, according to his autopsy report obtained by The Associated Press.

In fact, the Los Angeles County coroner's report shows Jackson was a fairly healthy 50-year-old before he died of an overdose.

His 136 pounds were in the acceptable range for a 5-foot-9 man. His heart was strong with no sign of plaque buildup. And his kidneys and most other major organs were normal.

Still, Jackson had health issues: arthritis in the lower spine and some fingers, and mild plaque buildup in his leg arteries. Most serious was his lungs, which the autopsy report said were chronically inflamed and had reduced capacity that might have left him short of breath.

However, according to the document, the lung condition was not serious enough to be a direct or contributing cause of death.

"His overall health was fine," said Dr. Zeev Kain, chairman of the anesthesiology department at the University of California, Irvine, who reviewed a copy of the autopsy report for the AP. "The results are within normal limits."

The actual autopsy report has not be released or posted. I'm guessing someone did leak this information and got some of the highlights of the autopsy...:cray:

Thanks LLL..From the movie "This is It" Michael did look healthy and full of energy...

I noticed in a couple scenes, he had bandaids on 3 of his fingers, but didn't know why.

From your posted article, stating that Michael's lungs were chronically inflamed, wonder what caused that.

You see this is what does not make sense to me. If he was a long time drug abuser why are his organs in normal condition?

Not sure, TB but I think it's due to those three fingers showing his true color? I think since he had his skin bleached due to the vitiligo, maybe those didn't take? Dont' truly know, just a guess..He's always had the same three finger wrapped in a bandaid.

I don't know if MJ was a long time drug abuser. I think he became addicted to pain medication after his scalp got burned. So how long ago was that commercial??

Wasn't that in the 80's?

I found some interesting points in the Autopsy Report.

1) Vitiligo (I always believed Michael when he said he suffered from this)
2) The drugs in his system (what the defendant said he administered)
3) The absence of any other drugs in his system
4) The absence of any signs of long term drug abuse (most significantly the
liver which always tells what is going on)
5) The presence of Propofol in other areas besides his bloodstream
6) Defendant's statement that he was called to the home by Michael complaining of dehydration and insomnia.

Although full of information these points really stood out to me. It is quite apparent Michael was pumped full of Propofol and I do not believe the defendant on when and how much he administered. Michael most assuredly went into cardiac arrest after the last dose of Propofol. Versed is a powerful drug used before Anesthesia and used for some procedures that do not require Anesthesia. But when used as a pre-op medication it is not combined with other drugs, nor given in multiple doses. It is quite disturbing to me one with medical training would administer such a deadly combination of drugs. Much less in a non-hospital setting. No Anesthesiologist would even contemplate such a deadly cocktail much less administer it. Also very disturbing defendant chose to treat insomnia with these drugs. Not medical protocol in the least. And no proof of any treatment for dehydration either.
