I have no doubt the man was tired flying from CA to NY. However, he could have kept walking, as he was doing in the first place, and I'm sure the guy would have gone away.

He needs to realize his part as Tony Soprano is no more. What an AH! Its the fan base that helped make The Sopranos as big a show as it was. :rolleye0001:

Yes, I saw that!

James Gandolfini had second thoughts, knowing he could have been sued. They hugged, took a photograph and made nice....the fan even asked if he could be invited to their wedding!

I so agree, but who knows what that fan really said to get that reaction! There are always three sides to a story. JG, the fan and the truth! :basic45:

What a jerk! He enjoys the celebrity and the big pay checks because of his audience yet he does something like this. Absolutely no excuse IMHO.

Well I figure the guy's career was made and ended by The Sopranos. He's always going to be Tony Soprano. IMO

Read somewhere that he has many projects in the works.

The guy looks just like my father at that age, (my dad is 20 years older than Gandolfini, and I am related to Joe Montegna.

He probably does. But he needs to leave his Tony Soprano character behind when he is in public. This is not the first time he has had a run in with people.

He is a good actor. I saw him a couple of weeks ago on a war movie on AMC (can't remember the name of it, it was probably made in the 1970's or so) He was really good in the character he played.

I like Joe Montegna :)
