Witnesses for the Prosecution
1. Dr. Chambliss - Former Waukesha Medical Examiner
2. Edward Klug - Former Coworker of Mark Jensen who testified that on a buisness trip Mark Jenson told
him how he had learned on the internet how to kill his wife with poison, naming benadryl and antifreeze.
3. Lt. Paul Ratzburg -
4. Klug - Wife of Edward Klug. Testified to a phone call and later conversations about Mark telling Edward
about how to kill his wife by poisoning her.
5. David Nehring- Coworker of Mark Jensen who testified that Mark was obsessed with Kelly LaBonte
and had asked him if he thought it would be appropriate for Kelly to stay at the Jensen house and
introduce her as a friend and also have her attend the funeral
6. Arron Dillard - Jailhouse snitch who testified that Mark Jensen confessed to him that he poisoned Julie
and when she wasn't dying fast enough he smothered her.
7. Therese DeFazio - teacher at the school where the Jensen children attended. Testified that Julie
confided in her that she was afraid of her husband and was going to kill her and make it look like a
suicide.
8. Rhonda Mitchell - Computer expert who testified to the internet searches for poison and emails.
9. David Thompson - Fellow inmate of Mark Jensen who testified that Mark asked him to help kidnap
Edward Klug so he could not testify. He said Mark was to pay him $1000. Mark paid part and was to pay
the rest upon Klugs safe return.
10. Nathaniel Clanton Jr. - Kenosha jail inmate who testified to back up Thompsons testimony about
kidnapping and holding Edward Klug.
11. Christopher Long - Toxocologist who testified to the toxicology report of ethylene glycol and oxalic
crystals found in Julie's body. Said there is nothing to support a suicide. Said it had to be homicide.
12. Tadeusz "Ted" Wojt - The Jensens neighbor who testified to the abusive treatment of Julie. Julie
confided in Wojt about her fears of being poisoned. Testified that Mark and his father were high 5ing each
other in the driveway after Julie's death. Testified that while the Jensens were gone their house was
broken into and he had seen Marks father at the house during the event.
13. Malgorzata Wojt - Jensen neighbor who testified to a phone call she had with Julie the day before she
died. Said she sounded intoxicated. Said Julie told her that she was sick and unable to come outside but
Mark was taking care of her.
14. Kelly LaBonte Grieman Jensen - Marks former mistress now wife.
15. Perry Tarica - Julie Jensens former coworker and man she had a weekend long affair with. Testified
about his relationship with Julie and that he had only contacted Julie one time after she ended the
relationship.
16. Lt. Dan Reilly - Investigator in Julie Jensens death. Said Mark told him that Julie had told him that she
knew Mark would be OK without her. Mark told him Julie was acting like she was intoxicated. Mark told
him julie had been suffering from depression since august. Triggerd by Douglas starting preschool. Mark
told him Julie had not been sleeping.
17. Ron Kosman - Plesant Prarie Police officer who investigated Julie's death. Julie had left him a
voicemail on the weekend saying if she died Mark should be a suspect. Testified that only 3 people knew
about the tap on the phone and whoever was doing the stalking knew about the tap. (mark, julie and
himself)
18. Mary K. Mainland - Kenosha County medical examiner. Re-examinted the autopsy reports when she
came to Kenosha County per Jambois request.
19. Neighbor across the street from the Jensens - testified to the amount of trash put out for pick up the
week after Julie died.
20. Ron Wruk - Buisness partner of Mark Jensen - Testified that Ed Klug came knocking on his hotel room
door in the morning and Klug said he had been up all night with Jensen joking about how to kill their wives.
21. Rugh Vorwald - She said he responded in a "rehearsed" manner, saying she died of a bad mixture of
prescription drugs.As for the wake for Julie Jensen, she said Mark Jensen acted like someone at a
cocktail party, laughing and joking while standing five feet from the casket.
Under cross-examination, she admitted she didn't know how much Mark Jensen grieved privately, and she
didn't know if he might have been laughing during the wake over a heart-warming story about his wife. But
she added she's never seen anyone laugh for 20 minutes at a wake.
22. Dave WIlkinson - First responder - Testified that the phone on the bedside table was off the hook. Said he
moved the body before pictures were taken.
23. Lynley Kapellusch - Coworker of Marks at Baird 96-98 Mark was financial advisor. she was a
receptionist/sales assistant. She answered all incoming calls. Mark didn't have a direct line. Mark never
said he had harrasing phone calls or mail. Office supervisor Joan Scully opened all mail that came into the
office. If Joan was out Kapellusch opened it. No porn. Knew Julie. Met her when she came into the office
to see Mark. Not often, sparatic. Brought the children with her. Julie was a loving mother.
On Cross -
24. Eric Schorr - David Jensen's best friend - testified that David told him his mother was sick and father
would not take her to the hospital. Testified that he met Kelly about a month after Julie died. Saw Mark and
Kelly in the bedroom, Mark's shirt was off and they were looking at each other intimately. Saw Mark on the
computer but never Julie.
25. Laura Jane Schorr - mother of Eric Schorr - Testified that her son told her that there was a conversation
between David and Eric. Testified that David called the house on wed morning instead of Julie to change
the playdate. Said that was odd. Said Julie had talked to her and asked her how to get more involved in
school. Said Julie was looking for a job.
26. Mr. Mangi - High school principal where Julie applied for a job. Testified that when he called the Jensen
house to offer Julie the job Mark answered and said Julie was asleep and would be sleeping for a long
time and laughed.
27. Diane Lebanowski - Bradford High School Nurse. - Testified that she believes Mr. Mangi called the
Jensen house the morning of Julie's death. Mr. Mangi told her about the phone call with Mark.
28. Ms. Merideth "Midge" Perez - Cashier at Stifel Nikolas - testified that she answered phones and mail and
no harrassing mail or phone calls ever. Mark never mentioned the harrassment to her. Mark was NOT IN
THE OFFICE(as he had told police) the day Julie died. Said Mark called her to tell her that Julie was very sick and he didn't
know what to do. She said she thought it was odd that he wouldn't know what to do.
29. Rosemary Elizabeth MacInnes - Co worker of Mark's at Stifel Nikolas - Testified that Mark never got a
harrassing phone call, never saw harrassing mail. Mark never told her that Mark was getting harrassing
mail or phone calls. Said Mark could have seen his vehicle from his office out his window. Testified that
Mark was not at work on the day Julie died. Mark attended the Christmas party a week after Julie died.
Looked like he was enjoying himself, ate, drank, laughed and had a good time. Attended with female and
both were enjoying themselves, flirting, appeared "close"
