KellBell

So in Ohio the jury is allowed to ask the witnesses questions??

CopperDog

Good Morning :happy0207:, Said hello on the Jensen thread.
Sounds like this trial will move fast.
I like it that the jury can ask questions.

Why are they wasting money on him?? DP?

KellBell
02-06-2008, 09:40 AM
That is something new to me. I had no idea that could happen in a trial. Can they ask anything they want?? That is wild. Just imagine if that were the case in all trials.

bambam
02-06-2008, 09:41 AM
why do they not let ppl see the face of who's testifying??

CopperDog

Usually when the jury is allowed to ask questions, they write them down and the judge reads them before HE asks the witness...sometimes the questions don't get asked LMAO Also, sometimes a witness doesn't want their face shown.:mornincoffee:

He is facing 2 capital murder charges, he should have took a plea for life w/o parole. Wonder if they offered him one. He is a cop so he shouldn't be stupid enough to think that he is going to get away with this after leading the police to the bodies.

The cold case we opened up last semester (25 years old, the murder case) led right to the son of the local highway patrolman who was the investigator on the case. The highway patrolman is NOW the mayor of a large town around here.

Of course the murder was never solved and never will be, likely.

Cops can get away with a LOT. imo.

The practice of allowing jurors to ask questions is probably more common than we know. I don't think I really care for it in light of jurors having an agenda. I really wish I could recall the name of the elderly woman who was found guilty of murdering her husband and her kids testified against her. It was on the East Coast. She loved to garden.

Bam are you still having problems caused by mother nature==Bad weather? She was very active last night.

Poor, poor Bobby!:puke:

Listen to his voice...who does that remind you of?

Reminds me of the murderer of Laci Peterson.

That monotone, throaty sound.

How desperate were all these women who had relationships with BC? Was it the uniform or the football? I just don't get it. I guess some of them didn't know he was married but Jessie did. She was very attractive and I can't see why she would become pregnant 3 times. I am not bashing or blaming, just wondering the allure that he apparently had.

I thought of that when she was questioning a witness and had to reword it. Her and the Kelly wife made me think... geez, is Cutts kin to Mark Jensen. :faintTHUD:
