She is not off the hook yet. She still has to continue treatment. It appears things are being done without the paparrazi around her.

Its money. They make tons of money off each pic they sell. However, it was proven that she would call some of the paparrazi and tell them when and where she would be. That was her way of staying out in the limelight without touring or being in the studio. Plus she has some mental issues. The whole situation was like throwing a match on gasoline.

I find it odd that they release her only after a week. I did something that wasn't near as bad as what she has done and I was handcuffed and shackled and taken to a mental ward from hell and held there for almost 3 months. If I were famous maybe I could have walked out too. But in order for me to get out, I made a sexual complaint against my doctor and I was released the next day. They couldn't get me out fast enough.

She wasn't taken to the hospital because she wanted to go, and I just don't think she's ready to take care of herself yet.

I don't really get the impression she won't continue treatment. The press just doesn't know where she is. She may have been transferred to another facility somewhere else.
For the first time, she doesn't have a media parade following and knowing her every move.

I wonder....
The reports from her mother have her manager feeding her pills, crushed up in her food, and every which way. I'm really wondering if he was drugging her for control. If so, some time off the drugs he was feeding her may have done the trick. I wonder how much of her behavior was caused just by improperly administered drugs. Maybe even all of it?
Some pretty strong meds, and crushing them up means they aren't absorbed properly, too much at one time, too little later.

Too late. She is back to her old habits driving the streets.
Quotes from Article:
By late afternoon, Spears had left home in a black Mercedes-Benz and drove for a while, then exchanged seats with an unidentfied man, the myfoxla.com Web site reported as it streamed KTTV Fox 11 news helicopter video from overhead.
Paparazzi vehicles zoomed around the car, which photographers swarmed at every stop. Spears' car was observing traffic laws, the helicopter pilot reported.
At one point the Mercedes pulled into the Beverly Hills Hotel entrance, then left. Beverly Hills police Sgt. Mark Miner said a "keep the peace" detail was sent to the hotel, a common practice when paparazzi are causing a nuisance.

This girl is eventually going to end up like ANS. I had hope for her, but now I'm beginning to think she is hopeless. IMO
