Mays High student reported missing

ATLANTA-An 18-year-old student at Benjamin E. Mays high school is still missing after being last seen at 9:15 p.m. on Nov. 29. Andrew Bernard Beeks was last seen in the parking lot of Providence Missionary Baptist Church on Benjamin E. Mays Dr.

On that morning, he met with a National Guard recruiter at the office in the Walgreen’s-SunTrust shopping center at Cascade and Fairburn roads in southwest Atlanta. He is known to frequent the Southwest Regional Library just a block north of the area. Beeks was present for classes on Wednesday at Mays High but has not been back to classes since.

Later that evening, he attended youth activities at Providence and was last seen in the parking lot by Diane Fuller, a member of the church. Sheal Beeks, his adoptive mother told officials that he is a good kid and does not have any unusual problems that she knows of. Family members were unable to advise friends of Andrew’s and he did not have a cell phone, police said.

Andrew Beeks is a black male who stands at an even six feet tall and weighs about 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown and gold reversible jacket, khaki pants and white tennis shoes. Atlanta police are not suspecting any foul play in the disappearance.

No mention of Andrew is made on the church's site. Maybe contacting them and asking for his photo to be put on the site might help?

He still does not show up on Atlanta's missing persons data base. I found nothing when I searched for information about Andrew. I wonder if he had been found.

I just tried to email the church about Ben but it said not available. I will do some checking on this later to see if there is anything else to go on.

I do not know why I said Ben when it is Andrew. I guess too many cases running together. I did send an email to myfoxatlanta and I hope I hear something soon. I will post any information I get on this case.

I have tried over and over and find nothing. I even emailed his church to see if he had been found and an error message was sent back...said something about not being a member, or something. I forget now, but there is no info on him at all.
